You used your bananascope only to find Mama kissing Santa Claus.

I had to go with the Fayle with the Domne & Tor close behind. I actually enjoyed the Domne & Tor's characters more but admired the Fayles stoic strength & level head.

This is something that I've contemplated often, what would a completely honest world be like Society would collapse into anarchy, which would amplify the negative images and input bombarding people. Countries would fall, cities would burn, economy and trade would crumble, and I think a large part of...

I was in 7th grade, pulled it out of the fantasy & science fiction section as a matter of routine, most likely because I liked the cover  . What a surprise, I was hooked - I never looked back, just fell in love with the characters!! Now, many, many years later I still love the series picki...

Maybe Despite could summon the Lurker.......& what about the Lords? I know you already have more good groups but then bad, but you may want to include them...

If you made the Ravers a group they could summon the Vortex of Trepidation.

Amanibhavam, I just came across a pairing of words that supports what you said perfectly "...the cloying scent of attar..."

I looked up cloying:
To supply with too much of something, esp. with something too rich or sweet.
I think you hit the nail on the head :D

So many good choices! Eremis & Gilbur are slimmy & slimmier but at least Gilbur didn't try to pretend he was something that he wasn't .....so I voted for Eremis. Saddith came up a close third though.....if for no other reason than she pretended to befriend Terisa's all while she was betrayin...
