The Last Chronicles are quite different from their predecessors in style. They seem less intense and less densely written. I will be able to give a more considered opinion after a reread.

Heya! I'm Rhebeqah. I first read the Chronicles back in the early '80s, starting with "The Illearth War", and have read the First and Second several times. Recently bought and read the Last Chronicles and am planning a re-read of the entire Chronicles at some point. Very glad to have found...

Haven't quite made up my mind where to place the Last Chronicles so I'll need to do a Covenant marathon at some point.
