I logged in under Isaiah's ID to show off the beautiful avatar Brian made for him.

And yet you stayed true. You knew wisdom when you saw it. You accepted love when it was offered. And you return it. Some lose these things entirely, and ignore them when the come along In my younger days, I was very bitter, and then just became indifferent. I was used and I used back. But, I don't ...

Read or watch Tony Kushner's "Angels in America". Not sure it actually falls into the "sci fi/fantasy" genre, but it most certainly protrays positive (and not so positive) gay characters. It is about a gay man, diagnosed with HIV, who visited by an angel and proclaimed a prophet....

That song describes what happened to me. It fits me like a glove. I had nothing to believe in, nothing to hold faith in.

Love is indeed divine! :)

If that is true, which it probably is, then I am very much aware of my life these days. I think also, that love and joy and peace, are also great measures of awareness. I lived a numb life until recently. Even my pain was dull. I just went through life in vague existence. Ate, drank, slept, when tho...

he always leaves me wordless. His poems say so very much with so few words. And these three really struck a cord in me probably because I now am going through what he did. That is why I asked Tracie to post them. It is so good to back here. Oh, I want to thank everyone who made their font really big...

Thank you

hello everyone, I want to say thank you to all for the prayers and well wishes. it feels good to be out of the hospital and back here in this beautiful house of love. I do not see very well now but Tracie has made the resolution on her monitor very very large so I can see it better. I was worried th...

Furls Fire has ordered me the Dark Tower books on audio CD. So, that is next on the list.

We are now reading the Elric books (she reads them to me). On Stormbringer now. Good stuff.

Very interesting. It was always the other way for me. My homosexuality was always a better reason to hate me than my upbringing as a christain was. In fact, it was said "christains", my parents and extended family included, in all their hypocritical "do unto others" rhetoric, tha...

I think that this debate would be a great one to bring up to SRD at Elohimfest. It would be amazing to see just how close Fist and Furls came to what he had in mind with all this.

The paradox of power, a double edged blade. Great stuff!

PIANO MAN Billy Joel It's nine o'clock on a Saturday the regular crowd shuffles in There's an old man sitting next to me Makin' love to his tonic and gin He says, son can you play me a memory I'm not really sure how it goes But it's sad and it's sweet and I knew it complete When I wore a younger man...

Mine comes from the person who has taught me so much, even though he passed on long before I met him. He brought me here, to this wonderful home where I now know love and caring. Furls Fire's brother, Stephen, an exceptional man whose wisdom and light live on; said those final words to her before he...

Yes, second grade, heh. Russ spit on her desk. :) She said it was love at first sight. They were 7 :) Reminds of a country song, I can't remember who sings it. It's about a little boy who passes a note to a little girl in a classroom, and the note says... "Do you love me, do you want to me my f...

I've been reading his journals from the time he started them at a very young age to the time that he passed. There is one aspect of his life that never wavered, never changed, and that was his faith. There is an entry from when he was 11 years old where he spoke of Jesus visiting him, and telling hi...
