So did I. I thought he must've appeared to Jeremiah at the start of ROTE. I expected Jeremiah to reveal that.
Me too. Once he was retired and wouldn't shut up. I expected this to be his big reveal.

The Elohim are the stars

I thought I remembered in the original description of The Worm, that it gorged on the cosmos leaving individual stars in the sky. That the stars were music and that each Elohim was a representation of the each stars song.

It would follow that as an Elohim is eaten a star disappears.
