Stephen Donaldson changed the face of fantasy with the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. The first six books in the series not only sold millions of copies, they created the modern fantasy genre. I dont think he will ever be as popular as JRRT, Yet Tolkien has a 40 year head start, which...

Plus word of mouth, I'm still preaching about it. Two of my friends that I forced the 1st and 2nd chronicles down there throat didnt even know about Runes, now they're going to buy it.
So word of mouth may help plus the arrival of Christmas combined.

Gilden Fire (From the Illearth War)

Gilden-Fire is the famous chapter about Korik of the Bloodguard and his mission to Seareach that was part of the original manuscript of The Illearth War, but omitted from the published version. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title. For those whom have not read i...

I've never read Gilden Fire either. To my mind, SRD removed it from the Illearth War for a reason. My friend, then you misrepresent yourself; {Possible Gilden Fire Spoiler} Author Forward from SRD. FOREWORD GILDEN-FIRE is, in essence, an "out-take" from THE ILLEARTH WAR. For that reason, ...

If it is the Skurj, then it's also Kastenessen, remember, Kastenessen rules them now. They answer his call. Where does it say...
