she plans these out with rest time included. i navigate during the actual trip. beforehand i scour the maps for awesome roadside attractions that we must visit.

but Julie's boss is in school the week of the 'Fest. so we are out. :(

but the epic road trip (19 for 17 - copyright Sgt.Null) is still on! but we will be setting it up for the spring of 1017. maybe April to coincide with our anniversary and my birthday.

and not stopping at the 'Fest means we will use that allotted time for trip stops.

Hmm, yeah, definitely.

To get the full benefit of any xkcd comic, though, you must view the mouse-over text on the website.

my favorite tv superhero show, ever.
I don't know if I would call it my favorite but so far the show is quite good. How ironic is it that Arthur Darvill, who initially made a career being someone else's time-travelling companion, has become the time traveller who has companions? Weird.

Did you catch Cold's in-joke quip "this isn't my first prison break"? That was awesome.

You've been missing out all these years!

The mouse-over text is the best part!

Now you have to go back and re-read them all. ;)

I am awaiting some Steam codes so that I can download some patches on games I already own and get busy doing some beta testing. That's about all I can say about it because I still have an active NDA with that company. This will make the fourth video game for which I have been invited to the private beta, something I never thought would happen. Perhaps if I really hone my programming skills I could pad my career path with "game developer", giving me another option as a "just in case" scenario.

I don't mind it, especially when it is for a game franchise I enjoy so much. One of the upcoming official fixes in the soon-to-be-released patch was originally mine. It isn't much, of course, but I am proud it nonetheless.

I suppose it's different for games. Also when many people are testing. My hatred of testing software etc. may come from the worry that I will miss something. But that's because mostly when I test stuff it's just me. :D
