I think I'm getting too old for the drive-in, because everybody annoys me. The last time we went (either last year or the year before), I nearly got in a fist fight with someone because he insisted on leaving his back hatch open which blocked our view. The place was packed so there was no changing spots, which normally I would have done. Thankfully the people who ran the place were cool and got them to tie it down, but that was after the first half of the first movie was over. And I was still seething until very near the end of the movie.
I think seeing Jaws for the first time in the drive in on the 4th of July was my most memorable drive-in experience.
Star Wars would have been fun in the drive-in, but I never saw it there. I wish I could now.

Welcome to the hallowed ranks of THOOLAH.

And... drive-in? They still have those?

I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion

I think we have like 2 in the entire country, and they were opened to attract people who missed them. Other than that (and not even sure they made it), they've been gone for years.
