Something that has recently come to my attention may have an impact on the production of the Kevinswatch Anthology compilation.
One of the original contributors of the Anthology has expressed a desire to remove their story from the original manuscript and has offered to contribute a new story to the 2017 section of the compilation.
The impact of this request is though originally we had implicit permission to publish from the various authors I am no longer convinced that we have complete permission to RE-PUBLISH them.
I'm beginning to think that we may have to gain permissions from all the previous authors in order to move forward which, in some cases, may prove difficult.
Please give me your thoughts.

Hmmm, far as I'm concerned, the original "permission" covers republishing as well.
If somebody wants to withdraw permission, let them request it.
Most I can think we'd have to do is maybe send a notice to their email address of record to notify them of the re-publication. (I can send a mass mail to the members list saying we're republishing if you want.)
If they don't like it, up to them to say so. If that address is no longer valid, that's not our fault or problem.

Yes. That would be helpful just to cover as many bases as we can.Avatar wrote:Hmmm, far as I'm concerned, the original "permission" covers republishing as well.

I have reached out to Ali. She reminded me that she had previously agreed to help with the new book which is wonderful. She said she'd drop by in a few days.
