That link I posted isn't software, it's a web service, runs in your browser. Try it out, you never know.aTOMiC wrote:Thanks Av, but the software lockdown for the city is pretty tight, as is suppose it should be.
My days haven't been too bad...just this nagging feeling of things I should be doing, but aren't...

This has been a generally ghastly week. Half the state is on fire. It's snowing ash. It's fire season, but a lot of the areas that are burning aren't usually in the danger zone. It's pretty horrifying.
And TOM isn't posting in Mallory's. Letters aren't going to change themselves!

Love it.
Well... hiiii, guys; I'm back.
From the EPIC almost-week-long trip back to my hometown in the South...
My boys and I stayed in the house I grew up in, explored in the woods a lot, and wow, the woods there are very GORGEOUS - I did not how much I'd missed it.
I got to have bunches of conversations with my dad, my sister (who came in to visit at the same time) and dear friends.

They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."

Friday! (the 13th)
Our annual band reunion jam is tomorrow so I am looking forward to that.
I promise I will try and post more.
Maybe if I had a bigger phone.
I brought my laptop to work and am hooked to my phone's mobile hotspot which will help.

Hi everybody
I don't have internet at home at the moment, so no Mallorys games or 15 minute threads for me. Just a quick check in at work. Looks like everything is ticking away like it should here
I am feeling quite hopeful today. Everything is up and down for me from day to day. But I have glorious new job cleaning floors at a Wal-Mart and I actually like it pretty well
My brain is exploding with creativity and I am working diligently on a science-fiction time-travel masturbiece so that's cool, too.

I think I'm getting to the point in the relationship with the reality of work that I could wax poetic about THAT.
(note how I turned that discussion into being something about me.. very classy of me.)
Keep talkin' - we eat that stuff up.Shuram wrote:KW = most awesome people on the planet!!

Had a great time hosting the band reunion jam. I just wished I could have remembered how to play more songs all the way through.
Yeah, weekend seemed like it wizzed by. I can't believe I'm sitting back at this desk at work. I just freaking left here, what gives?

Time flies and all that...
I didn't do anything exciting over the weekend, and Monday happened anyway, so I think that whole thing is probably a no-win situation.
My boss just got back from two weeks of vacation, and another boss is gone for a week and a half, and they told me I could take a week or two off when they got back. Which I knew wasn't going to happen, but it turned into them offering me Halloween off, which doesn't even give me a three-day weekend. Not going to turn it down - a day off is a day off, and I'm not counting on them not snatching it away at the last minute, but grrr. Grrrr.

That's super uncool, Sorus. Wahoo a whole day off, how generous considering you want to take a week or more. That would vex me as well.
Its a rainy Tuesday here. I kind of like it when it rains so I'm not as annoyed this morning as I would be otherwise.

I'm saving that for December. Not looking forward to six weeks of hearing Santa Baby 14 times a day. I can feel my blood pressure rising at the thought, and that's something I really need to work on controlling, because it's not worth health issues. Not worth it. Screaming 'SHUT UP' at the speaker systems would be cathartic, but it occurs to me that no one there has any idea about how I feel about that whole thing - it's pointless to complain about it, so I save my complaining for here. That made more sense in my head.Avatar wrote:Just one big temper tantrum Sorus...you'll feel better...
But anyway, I wouldn't be the top suspect if something... unfortunate happened to the sound system.
Yuck. Actually, I don't mind cleanings as long as there aren't any surprises. Surprises are expensive. May your dental visit be lacking in surprises.aTOMiC wrote:I have a teeth cleaning appointment with the dentist after work.
