Noble Plains of Ra .. I offer myself in service to the mighty raynhin .. ... to serve in whatever way they deem apt. Should the mighty choose me .. my life would be complete.
sky humbly bows to the Plains of Ra, before and respectfully submits herself .. to serve the mighty raynhin is indeed the highest of honours.

I think communicating with geographical formations is... not the same as with most humans.. it hears "raynhin" and it will just think you are speaking of something it's never heard of.
Oh, well, I cannot offer up an amazing deep connection between humans and those noble steeds of the Plains.
So I will not complain that the Plains of Ra are (is?) a geographical formation, and not a human!
(to go all out-of-character here!)

Skyweir, the Ranyhyn believe you are referring to them. Is this so?

Pretty sure you whistle three times for the Ranyhyn that has chosen you. Not when you present yourself for consideration.
It's also probably a good idea to get their name right when presenting yourself. Keep trying, Sky.

I am the setting and the translator. I do not intervene. The Ranyhyn choose as they will.
I did respond to FireSon's presentation. Not to his subsequent words, however. He frolics with the Ranyhyn still, from time to time. Chosen by none, yet chosen by all, he rides one, then another, then races them as Amok did. Such speed that child has!
As for PITA, Irian has told me what it means. She says it applies most fully to a "Jewish Mother", whatever that is. I worry that she spends too much time with you.

I have found that Pair O'Docks enjoys an occasional snack of PITA.
By my reckoning, FireSon would be a young man by now. News from his clan has been sparse in recent years. Good to know that he frolics still among the great manes.

Heh, I see what you did there, Fist.
While it is ancient history now, back in 2010, Pair O'Docks was the Ranynyn who chose to answer my call. We have ventured to many obscure corners of the Land in the ensuing years.
More ancient? I last wore a white lab coat in the mid-'80s while working at a NASA facility. No Ranyhyn were involved.

Alas .. spelling is not my forte .. as a great and powerful bastion of the Land .. I take the form of a person to mingle among Watchers and other inhabitants of the Land.
So I spell as I speak .. arguably equally as poorly
Though my great love is to serve the furbeings entrusted to me with greatest of caring and attentiveness. The ranyhyn .. are greatest of all .. even surpassing in magic and earth power the unicorns and all furbies of the Land where I labour.
I give thanks to the planet in which I now dwell, and
the Plains of Ra on which I hope to roam with the ranyhyn.
