hmm...

So, Central Standard Time would be two hours later than Pacific Standard Time.

Friday night's 7 pm PST show would be 9 pm CST.
Saturday matinee's 2 pm PST show would be 4 pm CST.
Saturday night's 7 pm PST show will also be 9 pm CST.

Thanks for considering Zooming in, sarge!

Like pine trees, these drop a chemical which largely prevents other plants from growing beneath them. Also, very very thirsty trees. (They're an invasive species here in SA.)

Me, well, I been a bit absent as y'all may have noticed. Been a few weeks of rolling black-outs made worse by damaged infrastructure which has meant that even when supposed to have power, I frequently haven't.

All seems stable (as possible) at the moment, but with the added annoyances that being without power for long stretches has brought to work, just haven't had the energy for anything lately.

Otherwise mostly good, although is seems that the GF's grandfather is probably not long for this world, he's in hospital and not doing too great.

Best wishes that what time is left for Melody's grandfather is comfortable, peaceful, and joyous.

For anyone who may have tried to Zoom in, thanks for trying! Sound issues seems to have been a common comment from those who Zoomed in. I don't know if we'll be able to rectify that, due to lack of equipment.

However, I learned that the performances are being video taped. I don't know if the best performed scenes will be edited together, or if the best overall performance will be used, but apparently a video of the show will be uploaded to YouTube at some point. I didn't even know they had a channel.

At this point, I also don't know if the video camera would have better audio than the Zoom sessions. But, I'll share the link if it becomes available.

I have heard the audio with Zoom was much better for the matinee. If anyone wishes to try Zooming in for the evening show, we'll be starting in about two hours.

My wife and I went to Key West for her 60th birthday. It was a lot of fun but really a few days there is all I needed. We stayed at a place called Parrot Key. I highly recommend it.

I still quite a bit of time that I need to take so another 10 days at Christmas, will leave me 14 days to take between Jan and May.

Had some hectic electrical storms the last few nights...night before last I counted a lightning strike every 2 seconds for a good 5 mins+.

Been a nice break to the summer heat at least.

Otherwise, meh... :D

If anyone is interested, the videos for two of the performances of The Prince and The Pauper, where I played two roles is available. From what I understand, pnp1 is the preferred performance over pnp2.

I feel like today was Monday squared. Let's leave it at that. Now that I've got a glass of wine in me and no longer give a rip about things people were fussing about at work... it's finally Tuesday evening, very pleasant, the lovebirds twittering and the parrot mocking everyone. I'm reading Malazan. Christmas is coming!

btw I'll be a grandmother any day now!!! Today was the due date, but my son was 10 days late so I'm not holding my breath.
