Server Move & Downtime
Just a heads up guys, the hosts are moving servers around, so we might have some down-time. And if you get an SSL error, just accept teh risk and continue (usually under the "Advanced" option on the error page, that needs to be re-configured.

However, newly posted ones — such as "ò" or "Ü" or "…" — clear the bar with room to spare.
Seems like all ('all' meaning 'universally across the Watch') "special" or "oddball" ASCII characters have been replaced with "".Avatar wrote:Ah, ok, all done, nothing to worry about. Join the discord anyway.

Eh, something weird, It's HTTPS until I log in. Might have something to do with the logged-in version or maybe the session ID. Have let Vain know.
FWIW it really doesn't matter, it's not like anybody is putting their credit card details in or anything. It's more pandering to browsers that have decided to frighten people with warnings.
(Oh, edited to add: Seems the site is having a problem sending email notifications to people who have subscribed to a thread. If you get an error saying "Had problems sending mail" you can ignore it, just means somebody in the thread is subscribed, and the site can't send a mail. Your post will still go through.)

LOL, I don't really do anything apart from bombard Vain with messages whenever something is wrong.wayfriend wrote:Thank you, Avatar and Vain, for making KevinsWatch possible.

Yeah. I see this, too.Avatar wrote:Eh, something weird, It's HTTPS until I log in.
When you click the login button, you get redirected to the index page (good) with the Session ID (good), but the index page URL has an HTTP scheme (bad).

Having some issues posting - some kind of 'debug' error code - never seen it before but it's happened twice today. Once it went of it's own accord, second time I simply couldn't post my post.

....and the glory of the world becomes less than it was....

'Of course - you know you have.'
'Then let it end.'

Bound to be a few issues with the switch. Needed to set it up on a VPS as the shared hosts wouldn't touch this code with a 10 foot barge pole.
I think the SSL is sorted - I set it to force SSL redirect and my warning went away.
If you're having an error message pop up, please stick a screenshot of it in your post.
I can't do anything about the weird characters not showing correctly sorry
Also not entirely sure what's happening with the email thing but will check it out
