I mean, we didn't actually create the stuff from scratch, we're just using what's already out there and available.

Glad you can enjoy that reunion! I can happily relate, Savor Dam! Nothing like the company of Ranyhyn, with all their nobility, fidelity, and Earthpower combined!

Donaldson's Other Works, I realized that all the links went to the threads on the old Kevin's Watch, so I have spent some time today making all the titles in that index link up to the relevant threads on the NEW Kevin's Watch.
All of the Group Read indexes are no doubt going to have to be redone that way, too.
I will probably get around to redoing the links in The Gap chapter discussion Index that I made, but I haven't the energy left to do that, today.
(But, soon, SOON!)
DONE! The Gap index now has all chapter dissection thread links going to the NEW IMPROVED KEVIN"S WATCH!
For a shortcut to try it out, click on the title below:

I will be glad to help update the links for the other Group Read indexes, Av!
I will need temporary access to moderation powers for the following subforums:
Dissecting the Land (I can update the master index there)
1st Chronicles
2nd Chronicles
Last Chronicles
Casting the Augury
I'll need a few days, but I promise to post whenever an index has just gotten updated to the new Watch.

I can’t even imagine ~ wish I could offer some service but can’t think of a thing a technophobe and barely literate computer user can offer.
If you think of ANYTHING at all ~ happy to help.
What you are all doing is phenomenal ~ brilliant skill sets all of you adminy folks

Using my Android phone, items and the Ranyhyn are not showing up under the avatars when scrolling in Portrait mode. They are there when scrolling in Landscape mode. Is there a way to get them to appear in Portrait mode? Or is that part of being "mobile friendly?"
I'm also curious about post order. If I recall correctly, while posts appeared in ascending order by time posted on the old board, I think the pages loaded in descending order? So the newest page was always page 1? Is there a way to go back to that?

No, the newest page was always the last page.
And no, afraid I don't know if it's possible to get the flair to show in portrait mode.
You might be able to modify the post order etc. in your own personal settings, check out your user control panel to see what options you have.

I don't remember if this was something we could do on the previous board, but as someone who follows the red new post notifications on the board index (I'll miss calling it "the orange dot tree), rather than using a read new messages button, I want to express appreciation for not only being able to mark threads and topics as read, but whole subforums as well. I had gotten used to forums I didn't frequent as being constantly marked as having new posts, but I am happy to be able to mark them read in one go now.

oooh Cord how did you get your sig to include 6 thingies and order them in a neat horizontal row?? I love that ~ I’d prefer mine to to be arranged like that but despite my efforts they assembled in a disorderly fashion!
It’s like they have a (disorderly) mind of their own!

CH did it by making them all into a single image. However, you could have done it just by putting the code for your images all on a single line... Anyway, fixed that for you.

That's so nice of you, Av. Now I'm wishing I had saved copies of my items, including the white gold ring.
