I saw the best Voyager episode of all today: Death Wish
The one where they find a Q imprisoned in a comet! DAMN I love it!! :D :D :D
Here's the transcript. Of course, we all know that Q's voice and facial expressions are priceless, and Q's are also. Can't see any of that in a transcript. Still...

Hey, that happens to be one of the few Voyager episodes I've seen too! I enjoyed it as well. Thanks for the transcript! :)

Voyager was a great idea, alone in the Delta Quadrant, no back-up, no starbase to get repairs etc, but like all modern trek, they ballsed it up, and hit the reset button every week. Add Janeways obsession with investigating every particle of junk in space instead of getting her crew home, or morally objecting every time they did find a way home (like in the second ever episode) and you have a recipe for sheer annoyance.

Another huge gripe is that In the final episode, Voyager itself looked like it was fresh off the production line after several years of battles, anomolies and near death experiences in the Delta Quad...now look at Battlestar Galactica, if it gets a part of it smashed up one week, the scars are still there the next week, they gradually disapear over time, as if *shock horror* somebody is gradually reparing it.

Oh, and as for Neelix, somebody should've shot him in episode one, annoying creature! It would've been worth a few years in the brig just to have done with him, Hell, the crew would probably promote you to captain for such actions...

Edit: One season of Captain Ransom's adventures would've been excellent...screw the Prime Directive, I'm getting us home, no matter what the cost. 8)

STAR TREK: VOYAGER

Fist and Faith wrote: IMO, the best moments of the show were due to 7. There's the episode where the Doctor found out some of his memories had been erased. Turns out Janeway did it. Kim and some woman that the Doctor hardly knew (we didn't know her at all) had both been critically injured, and he only had time to save one. He chose Kim, solely because he had a personal friendship with him. He was going insane because of the randomness of his decision. No justice, no reason. Janeway erased his memory of the incident and the woman so that he would stay sane. Obviously, the Doctor found out what happened, and regained the memories. And started going crazy again. And Janeway erased them again. Finally, 7 went to Janeway and gave her a piece of her mind. Excellent scene!
Still such a GREAT comment, Fist!! It was heartbreaking to see the Doctor (my fave Voyager character) gets stuck in a guilt-ridden loop, because he had to choose between saving Harry Kin and a crewwoman with whom he had less history. He lets her die and his memory of her existence has been erased.

The episode is "Latent Image", and I think it is part of the show's fifth season (1998-1999).

Seven of Nine insists the Captain should let the Doctor grow and learn out of it, living beyond his guilt, eventually. Captain Janeway just thought of the Doctor as an appliance, and Seven saw hope for his emerging humanity.

STAR TREK: VOYAGER

I have been on a rewatch through Voyager... I finished a binge watch through Enterprise just a few months ago.

I have found a number of episodes that I missed during the initial run and this was one of them. What great writing and a superb plot line.

@Cord Hurn I love 7 in that scene. One of my favorite scenes of the series.

https://youtu.be/ncIOJjFb1n0

Favorite lines:

JANEWAY: If you've come to act as my conscience, you're a little late. I considered these issues eighteen months ago, as I did again this morning. I came to the same conclusion.
SEVEN: Your conclusion is wrong.

SEVEN: It is unsettling. You say that I am a human being and yet I am also Borg. Part of me not unlike your replicator. Not unlike the Doctor. Will you one day choose to abandon me as well? I have always looked to you as my example, my guide to humanity. Perhaps I've been mistaken. Good night.
