Does anyone here like Trance/Electronica/Club type music? If so, which groups do you like then?

The closest thing I ever could dig that came close to trance was Lords of Acid. I have a few techno cd's and I really liked going to the all night raves with mi esposa back in the day. Before we had junior of coarse. These days we are only dancing in the car if we find it on the radio on our way to the park!!
I know it's not trance- I just love my Fat Boy Slim and Moby and The Crystal Method cd's but they all have dust on them:(

"Hellfire! Everybody in this whole business, you and everyone keep accusing me of being some sort of closet expert. I tell you, I don't know one damn thing about this unless someone explains it to me. I'm not your bloody Berek."

I liked trance, though like Hellfire said, most of the stuff I heard was at raves. The only trance DJ I can think of offhand that I liked was Alice DJ.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I'm more of a drum and bass man, but trance can be pretty good. I really hate the pretention that seems to be associated with all trance nights everywhere though. You have to dress the right way, dance the right way, be pretty enough and be rail thin. Otherwise everyone looks down their noses at you. I much prefer hard house as a variant, it's usually just come as you are. Insomniacz in Sheffield is one of the best nights (well, mornings then) I've ever experienced.
Q. Why do Communists drink herbal tea?
A. Because proper tea is theft.

My favorite by her is Better Off Alone. I have her CD. Then again, I'm thinking of Alice Deejay. Are they even the same person, I wonder.Caer Sylvanus wrote:I liked trance, though like Hellfire said, most of the stuff I heard was at raves.
