Boomtown.

There was only about six episodes; but it was the best cop drama out there.
There was always a twist, and you got to see the story from multiple POV's: the cops, the DA, the reporters, the criminals, the victims.

Also I miss Northern Exposure and Quantum Leap, and Sliders

The last season or two of Sliders was pretty bad.

I miss Seaquest. About half the episodes were really good, and there were only a couple painfully bad ones.

Yeah, Sliders being cancelled was a mercy killing. Too bad for a show that started off so good (keep it simple, stupid!).

I'm beginning to think I'm not going to see another ep of The Venture Bros. and that bums me.

I should have added Sliders to my list too (loved that show... at first),
but I didn't because I quit watching it after the cast changes.
The death of the Professor and the Mallory brothers I could have lived with,
but it went downhill after that.

An amazing film.. and indeed, millions of fans worldwide wait to see if there will be another two films. :)

im pretty sure Joss Whedon had planned on doing a feature film when he found out it was going to be cancelled...to continue the story...im sure the fan protests helped, but i dont think it was the catilyst for the movie...

Wow MM, Tales of the Golden Monkey...that brings back some memories.

And Titus was hilarious...pretty dark for a family comedy.

Futurerama was great, but I really think it started to lose it near the end.

And Farscape...*sigh*...I enjoyed that a lot.

When I saw the image, for a second it looked like Kafka had signed the pic.

That's my favorite show of all time. But at least it had a good, long run. IMO, it was fizzling out in ways, so I'm kinda glad it worked out the way it did.

Or you can just by Thinner and watch the first fifteen minutes. She manages to be more annoying than sexy on Sliders (if I remember right, all she really does is show off her abs and boss people around).

I have to agree with Syl. Trading John Rhys Davies for her was a huge mistake though the series probably had no choice. I'm guessing Mr. Davies left the show and they needed some kind of character to fill in.

Defending Revan, because basically his recounting of the genesis of Serenity is correct and accurate. One addition is the Joss Whedon was able to take the astounding sales records for the DVD set and fan responses to the cancellation to another set of media executives, not the guys that cancelled Firefly, at Universal and persuade them that a movie based on the series would be a good idea.

I'm sure that most of you are presuming I'll name some Joss show, but you'd be wrong. So I'll weigh in with Babylon 5.

I think it was cancelled several times. It just wouldn't die.
