I'm Back!
Hello everybody!
As some of you noticed, I've been gone way too long!
All is well, Mrs. Dromond and I bought a house and while not a money pit, still requires a lot of fixing.
I've been insanely busy moving out of our apartment of 10 years and getting the house ready (it's going to be beautiful!) And working full time!
I finally got the computer (desk and all, whoa!) up and running and have been slightly edgy being without internet access for so long!
I've missed you all and have a lot of catching up to do!
I may not be posting much for a little while but you can bet I'll be trying to keep up with you guys!

Hey Dromond. Good to have you back.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Nice to see y'back around, Dromond.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Thanks for all the kind words, everybody.
I'll tell ya, I can't believe how horrible SBC, aka Ameritech, aka the local phone service, how horrible they are!
For years in the rental I never had problems, just hearing and reading about everyone else gripe.
Then we had service switched to the house August 1st and only as of yesterday do I have phone service! Too little too late! We're going with a cable modem and screw the phone company!
What I'm really saying is, It's good to be back!
Everyone looks so different! Maybe I'll get a makeover, too!

So is your title...love it!!
don't change a thing
don't change a thing
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.
~fly fly little wing, fly where only angels sing~
~this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you~
...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.
