Sarge, Annie Lennox was a goddess to me at the time of that song.

I therefore have to defend it... Even if it was sh***

Since I may have missed some over the past couple of months, I apologize if I repeat anything!

When Joan tells TC she's leaving: You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling (there's no tenderness like before in your fingetips.....)

Entering the Sarangrave: Welcome To The Jungle

Theme song for the Skest: It's Not Easy Being Green

Theme song for the Kresh: Hungry Like The Wolf

Theme song for Hile Troy: My Future's So Bright

sorry, I'll stop now

Nice choices onewyteduck.

When we first see Fleshharrower after the Battle of Dooms Retreat: Waterloo by ABBA.

Garrotting Deep: A Forest by The Cure.

And just because it's a truly awful song: Cherry Pie by Warrant(?) as Variol's love-song for Tamarantha. Mhoram was conceived to the sound of it...

Gross! And very funny!
Words like 'finance' bore me,
Interest in the world of cash ignores me...
Only when I hunger does it grab me,
Only when I borrow does it stab me...

Safety Dance for Covenant's VSE had me wife and I crying and out of breath. Simply the funniest post I've ever seen in my life!

How about these:

Burnin' for You - Blue Oyster Cult
(Foamfollower carrying Covenant across Hotash Slay)

Take the long way home - SuperTramp
(Hile Troy marching Revelstone's army across the Land)

I fall to pieces - Patsy Cline
(When Covenant's leprosy becomes active)

The Macarena
(Covenant's VSE)

Lick it up - KISS
(When Linden tries to give Covenant diamondraught during his poison relapse)

Like a Virgin - Madonna
Seventeen - Winger
Back in the saddle - Areosmith
Heartbeat - Don Johnson
(You know which scene these would work for)

Crazy - Patsy Cline
(Elena on screen)

SuperFreak - Rick James
(Covenant and Linden gettin busy on Starfare's Gem)

I don't need your rockin chair - George Jones
(When Covenant meets Lena again in TWL)

Theme from Fat Albert
(The jherren appear on screen)

I hate everything about You - Ugly Kid Joe
(Linden's theme)

Push it - Salt N Pepa
(When Starfar's Gem is caught in the ice)

Hot in here - Nelly
(The burning of Soaring Woodhelvin)

Achy Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus
Lookin for Love in all the wrong places - ?
(Triock looking at Lena)

Kawlija - Hank Williams Jr
(Hilke Troy becomes a forestal) "Kawlija was a wooden indian..."

Okay, don't flame me too bad...but some of these I just couldn't help it.
I need to quit before I make too many enemies...
Brian: Who cured you?
Ex-Leper: Jesus did, sir. I was hopping along, minding my own business, all of a sudden, up he comes, cures me! One minute I'm a leper with a trade, next minute my livelihood's gone. Not so much as a by-your-leave! "You're cured, mate." Bloody do-gooder.
Brian: Well, why don't you go and tell him you want to be a leper again?
Ex-Leper: Uh, I could do that sir, yeah. Yeah, I could do that I suppose. What I was thinking was I was going to ask him if he could make me a bit lame in one leg during the middle of the week. You know, something beggable, but not leprosy, which is a pain in the @$$ to be blunt and excuse my French, sir.

Thomas Covenant, going about his life before getting Summoned: Nik Kershaw, "Wouldn't It Be Good"

The Ravers' theme: Bryan Adams, "Somebody"

"I need Some Body (Hey what about you?)"
"Everybody needs Some Body"...

Hile Troy watches Elena ride away with Covenant, while he must get his army moving: ABBA, "Knowing Me, Knowing You"

The Dead attack Revelstone: The Hooters, "All You Zombies"

At the end of TPtP, when Mhoram is celebrating the victory: Howard Jones, "Things Can Only Get Better" Or Kool & the Gang: "Celebrate"

2nd Chrons:
whenever a Na-Mhoram shows up outside Revelstone, or at Revelstone whenever Gibbon appears: After the Fire, "Der Kommissar"

Desert Sun: Bananarama, "Cruel Summer"

Whenever anybody rides a Courser: Roxette, "Joyride"; Tom Cochran, "Life is a Highway"

Whenever Rant Absolain appears: Michael Jackson, "Bad" (Somehow Mikey & ol' ghaddi Rant seem to have a lot in common. Except Rant can't dance.)

Destruction of the Sandhold: Talking Heads "Burning Down the House"

(Ok, let's steal from other movies' soundtracks for this) While the Giants prepare to summon the Nicor, play "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid. Fadeout when everything is ready. When the big water-fiddle is played, it sounds like, yes, you knew it, the ominous shark-is-coming theme from Jaws!

At the One Tree: Duran Duran, "Union of the Snake"

The battle with the arguleh: Pat Bennetar, "Fire & Ice"

Skinnydipping in Glimmermere: Jermaine Stewart, "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off"
It is said with some truth that there is no progress without loss; and it is always said, by those who wish to destroy good things, that progress requires it. No great insight or experience of the world is necessary to see that such people really care nothing for progress. They wish to destroy for their profit, and they, being clever, try to persuade us that progress and change are synonymous.

Fantastic posts Luke and Caer!

I particularly liked "Achy Breaky Heart" for Triock and "Cruel Summer" for the Desert Sun.
