SRD's Website wrote:A production company called Fully Loaded Pictures LLC has just purchased a 12-month renewable option to develop a film or films based on the GAP novels. The agreement covers all five GAP books, so I think we can safely assume that Fully Loaded Pictures does not intend to squeeze the enTIRE story into one movie. As is usual in these situations, the contract covers every conceivable eventuality, ranging from one half-hour cartoon in a non-English-speaking TV market to an endless franchise of "major motion pictures." But the (privately) stated hope of Fully Loaded Pictures is to tell the whole story in three films. I've agreed to "consult" with the producers on a very limited basis.
Best. News. Ever.
I'm going to go cry for a while. And then reread the Gap.

nice bit of (hopeful) news there.
althoguh I cannot find any concrete info on this "Fully Loaded Pictures LLC" company....
On the bad side, it means they are a small guy and won't have great backing.
On the good side, if they are small, they must have some sort of passion for SRD's work ifthey picked this...

Finish it. It's a short novel (novella), and yes it has some harsh parts, but grin and bear it! When you reach FK, especially Enablement Station, you'll realise you should have continued a long time ago.
Finish it.

Guess i better read these then aye? I've still never seen them in a bookstore though. I may have to Amazon them.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
