Show us where you READ!

Post by Wyldewode »

Okay. . . so we know where you sit while you surf the Watch. Now I think it would be interesting to see where you read!

I will go first:

Now that I have moved, I have a great little reading nook complete with comfy chair, ottomon, and nice lamp.

I've shown you mine. . . now I want to see yours! ;)

I move around alot, but if there's no one making noise, and it's raining out side, I'm on my footan:
Image

If there's people making noise dowstairs, and it's raining outside, then I read in my room at my desk.
Image

If it's nice outside then I read in my hammock. I love this hammock.
Image

Before I go to bed, I get a few chapters in, in bed.

I need to get a new one. I got it free for helping one of my buddies move (she needed someone for all the heavy stuff) and she didn't want it anymore, however, I've outgrown the darn thing. *sniffle*

I'm thinking of getting one of those huge rope ones you see on the pictures of tourism for Jamaica and such.

I now have a fenced-in backyard, so it may be feasible to get one with a stand. We used to have two trees out back, but the EPIC ice storm we had back in January ripped the roots ouf the ground and toppled them both. 8O

I tend to read most on the bus.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

I don't have a dedicated reading area, which may (or may not) explain why I have a hard time these days getting into the mood to read.

I normally read in the cab of my truck whenever I have a little downtime.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

I read in the only place I can ever get any peace (and even then, I usually only get an hour or two of undisturbed reading at a time):

Cov, I love the color of your wall! It looks so soothing! One day I hope to live in a place where I can paint the walls whatever I choose. For now. . . I can paint the walls whatever I want--as long as it is cream! :P

Thanks. :) It took some getting used to - 'tropical lime' turned out to be more limey than expected.

Ugh, my girlfriend has loads of pillows, and when I sleep there I feel like I'm sitting up. Gah.

One good pillow is all I need. :) Pictures of my bedroom to follow when I am finished with the picture hanging and all. :P

And Vain, if you'd want to post pictures of your throne room, feel free. :D
The bath hammock looks to not be as comfy as one might think. ;)
