Unless they've got cameras on them...
Yeah, then you need to make sure you drive really fast.
Heh, that's not going to work. The Mythbusters busted that one: no matter how fast you drive by the camera, it's going to catch your license plate. These cameras can snap a photo at thousandths of a second. I haven't worked out the math, but I imagine you'd have to go well past supersonic to evade the all-seeing camera.

Yeah, I got all your red lights the other night.

Seriously, the only time I typically get that kind of green light luck is when there is something I need to do, like change the tape in the car, light a smoke, open the other window so the bee that just entered the car can escape and not panic and sting me, or if I happen to drop the lit part of the cigarette into my lap...

Of course I was joking when I said I just blow through Red Lights....but seriously; when you spend your entire day in traffic; you can either let every little thing get you upset; or you can just chill out and let things slide.

I find it more enjoyable to laugh at the people who are freaking out at the bad drivers.

Freaking out leads to WORSE driving...road rage is real; and the sooner you can not let bad drivers get you down; the better driver you will be yourself.

The only people I get Pissed at; are the people who won't let me back out into traffic...Like, when I'm pulled off to the side of the road on delivery, and try to get back into traffic..I mean, I am courteus, I don't just pull out in front of people like #^(&ing cab drivers..I just put my signal light on, and try to inch out....is it THAT hard to let someone out?

My car is about ten years old, and certain drivers - mostly in BWMs and Audis, I've noticed - can't bear to be seen behind an old car like mine, so they overtake me...and immediately slow down, so I have to pull out and overtake them in order to continue driving at the same speed as before. Why overtake me in the first place if you're going to drive more slowly than me?
Argh!!! Yes!!! Another big one!!! What's going through their mind?????

Another thing I hate is the people who can't take a right turn without first going as far to the left as they can. (Or going to the right to take a left.) Is there some weird law of physics that says it works better that way????? Usually, they just look like dopes, but sometimes, they go into the other lane to do it, and almost hit other cars. I've sometimes had to stop because I didn't know what they were doing!

Yup! The only way I've ever been able to influence the lights (Robots?!? LOL!! Av, that's hilarious!!!) is to have a book that I'm really enjoying with me. I'd love to read it at a redlight. So as I approach a redlight, I pick up the book so I can start reading as soon as the car stops. And ZING, it turns green before I stop! :D

hehe...I'm with you, Cjr...too many times has that happened to me! So now I make sure I keep 'em on my tail - everytime they try to accelerate, so do I, and they lose their opportunity to overtake.

Ahh, the joys of owning an Alfa Romeo...

Well said Drew. Couldn't agree more. That's pretty much how I drive. Take it easy and don't let anything get to me.

Even though I'm a city boy, I've become really fed up with our car culture - the congestion, noise and pollution that it produces, and along with it that all-consuming road rage. It turns a simple walk in the city into dangerous activity: you don't have to be in a seedy part of town, just being at any mundane traffic intersection is enough to put your life in danger. And I'm just talking about a relatively quiet and uncrowded prairie city like Winnipeg. I can only imagine (just barely) how much crazier it must be for a pedestrian in major metropolises like Toronto, London, New York, etc.
