Had a blood test today at the local doctor. Going to find out if anything's wrong with my bones/if I have anemia from being so underweight.

They had trouble getting my blood pressure--was very shallow. And my temperature kept reading 94.6 or thereabouts.

They had to stick me three times--yesh! The blood would go into the little tube and then suddenly stop--wouldn't fill the vial.

Had to fast from midnight until well after breakfast, because of the test. I also didn't sleep well the whole night, and I had to get up around 7:30 AM for the appointment. They let me have a cup of coffee around 11:00 AM or so. Man, best cup I ever had; steaming hot and made my eyes water. Hunger is the best spice!

I was tested for anemia a while back too, LF. I turned out ok, I hope you are too!

I'm ok. I'm sorry I haven't been around that much lately... works actually been busy.

I got another tattoo yesterday and I'm not sure if I love it or not. It was supposed to be shaded more, but apparently my skin doesn't take white dye well, so we had to improvise and just use different colors. I have to go in again for a touch up on the color since he has to go over some areas. I'm going to reserve judgement on it until it's done.

Oh- it's a stylized 3-D tetris piece on my hip. Because every piece fits, right? :) I'll put a pic in the album in a few weeks when it's done.

Well, peeing on your boss's desk may make you incarcerated more than legendary!

Yeah, but think of the BRAGGING RIGHTS!

Interesting, but couldn't they just take the batteries out? Or toss it out the window? How about replacing the sugar with salt at the coffee station and cutting the feet off your boss's desk legs so the desk is at a really uncomfortable height or shoving raw meat in the heater vents to your boss's office? A nice oily fish works best....not that I would know from experience or anything..... 8O

I absolutely despised the Cintas delivery guy at an old job. He was an arrogant obnoxious dickhead and well, one day when he was in delivering the uniforms I popped out the back and well...a little raw bait mackerel down the defrost vent and a few days later his truck stunk to high heaven....good times I tell you, good times. Just for future reference, you really don't want to make me dislike you intensely.....

You really really have to be an utter jackass/sexist/obnoxious/arrogant/blatantly evil f--ker for me to resort to my evil methods of torture. This guy talked down to me and treated me like a second class citizen for two years before I finally snapped. I think you are pretty safe Balon....Lucimay on the other hand...... 8O ..... just kidding about Lucimay.

Well, that's unlikely (unfortunately).

So, my watchie friends, I've kinda got a pretty big lump where I shouldn't have a lump (and I've been feeling crap in other ways). I haven't said anything in this public forum coz...well, I'm not like that...and it's probably nothing...but I'm almost to the point of going completely insane.

I had to wait two weeks for tests (because I live in a country town you can't get things done quickly...and I ended up having to travel to get these tests done anyway). So, I got the tests done on Monday and now I'm waiting and waiting and waiting. I was told "results by Thursday at the latest" (it's now Thursday night here in Oz).

I rang my doctors yesterday and they didn't have the test results. Same thing today. And the clinic receptionist was a pain in the ass to me ("we don't ring everyone with their test results" "did your doctor say you needed to come back to see him" blah blah). I had to explain what the tests were for before she put on her "I'm a compassionate woman" persona and tried to help. So, I ended up ringing the radiology clinic where I had the tests done. Apparently my tests have been "in review" since Tuesday morning...and the woman did a bit of "umming" at me--not surprised since she'd already explained to me that generally these things are done within 24 hours of being submitted for review.

So what does that mean? Does that mean that it's not a straight forward case? Does that mean it is (ie: I'm fine and so I'm put at the bottom of the pile)? Or am I just a number and have to wait in line regardless of the problem? WTF does it mean?

And, well: even if there is something that I need to discuss with my doctor, even if he gets the results tomorrow, there are no clinics here on the weekend so I'm looking at Monday at the earliest to know anything.

I've just had it. I'm emotionally exhausted. I just need some certainty back in my life. Even if this is some dumb cancer let's just get it over and done with!

But, yeah Av...you're right: it could be worse...
