The Science - Religion Debate... Of Old!

Post by Xar »

Here's a funny little thing I found on the internet... with all the talk about the science-religion debates, it's interesting to see a different angle with another religion for a change :P

Funny, funny funny...
omg, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
I'm a fan of Norse Myths too and I never compared it like that.

Xar, were you afraid to post this in the Close?

Not really, I thought about it, but this is obviously made to be funny, and more people visit this forum than they do the Close :P

How about throwing reincarnation into the debate? There's plenty of time for that when you live in a van down by the river.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
