Holy Crap!!! Talk about a blast from the past!!!!

Post by danlo »

Just received this email from a long-lost original (EZboard) member of the Watch:

"Juntel was the coolest of the cool, and then he just vanished off the face of the earth."-danlo

Oh, geez, now you make me blush... we were ALL cool, and you know that!
And people don't vanish, but avatars do :)
Don't worry, I visit/lurk once in a few months. I even posted a few dozens of times, but even then I moved on to other things. I purchased the hardcover of Runes on sale last year, but haven't read it yet! (softcover might have corrections I heard... true?) Maybe lost that SRD enthusiasm of yore...
(but was quite envious of that meeting of KW people with SRD a few years ago... now THAT was cool!)

I see that skyweir doesn't post anymore :( Hope she's allright.

Say hi to Cjr.

Take care.

Wow, people around here were talking about this member in the past tense when I signed on. Good to know that some of the oldest fans are still out there, swimming in the quagmire of life.

Yeah, I vaguely remember some old references to this guy. Glad to see he's doing OK.

Alas, Juntel didn't actually post, so Sevothtarte still has the most surprising return.

Wow, he was before my time, but it's cool he still visits. I wonder if Landwaster is still lurking.....

Yay! Good to hear from Juntel! (And why *don't* you post on your own, Mister Lurker Juntel? Huh? Huh? )

Speaking of Sky, I've been wondering about her myself. Anybody heard from her lately?

Oh gosh, this reminds me. I haven't checked on the status of the Map in a long time. Did you go recently Av? Does it need any maintenance of any sort?

:::sigh:::

Probably best I go see for myself...

ali,

Yes, what danlo said. She is doing very well, but is too busy to visit the Watch unfortunately.

Damn. I didn't realize there was a measurable period of "before my time" for some of you.

Haha, you better believe it. In fact, aren't we coming up for the Watch's 7th birthday in a few months?

Our Tartan Army Messageboard used to be on Ez Board.

We had to get off there as soon as possible, due to all the pop ups ofering us Plasma TV's, etc.

Was the watch like that on EZ Board? Just an irrelevant question from a relative newbie.

So Balon, where you seriously only 14 when you joined the Watch? Makes me feel a little better that Beorn isn't too active at 13 then...
