Not really a newbie...just announcing a return to the Land.

Post by Iryssa »

It's been a long time since I've been here...I haven't even gotten the chance to see if the people I once knew here are still around (there must be someone...)

Anyway, after a long break from message boards, I've decided to make my return. I'm excited...and I'm curious to know what my signature says (I haven't checked that either ;) ).

So, here's to new and old friends, the war on idiocy, and cake! Cheers, all. Be true.

Well, Iryssa, I'm still around for some reason. I think it's just inertia. An object at rest will stay at rest until...

Anyway, welcome back, for what it's worth. Take a look around and see if you still recognize the place. They may have done some remodelling but I think the fridge is the same.

Nice to have you back Iryssa. :D
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

[represintin for the wimmins]

here's a song for your welcome home!
[shameless promotion for Vespers]

Traveling at night, the headlights were bright
And we'd been up many an hour
And all through my brain
Came the refrain
Of home and it's warming fire

And Home
Sings me of sweet things
My life there has it's own wings
To fly over the mountains
Though I'm standing still

The people I've seen
They come in between
The cities of tiring life
The trains come and go,
But inside you know
The struggle will soon be a fight

And Home
Sings me of sweet things
My life there has it's own wings
To fly over the mountains
Though I'm standing still

Traveling at night,
The headlights were bright.
But soon the sun came through the trees
Around the next bend
The flowers will send
The sweet scene of home in the breeze

And Home
Sings me of sweet things
My life there has it抯 own wings
To fly over the mountains
Though I'm standing still

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.
