fall far and well Pilots!
O'Toole is still alive?? Why did I have the impression he had passed away? Maybe I got him confused with Richard Harris.
(Sorry, too lazy right now to put up any photos)
Can't think of anyone else for Havelock at the moment...but I have this vague image of John Lennon during his long-haired hippie days...

I thought Havelock was already an old fellow in the story, so I assumed having older actors play Havelock wouldn't be an issue.
Yes, I can see Mickey Rourke as Lebbick. He's got that brooding intensity that's needed for Lebbick. Penn and DeNiro have that quality, too, of course -- that sense of violence bubbling beneath the surface.

Julianne Moore is too old to play Terisa. How about Lindsey Lohan!
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Ah, Steven Fry. Excellent! He has the talent to play the perfidious, highly intelligent and scheming seductor.
A hair makeup, and loosing about 20 punds, and he'd be perfect physically as well.
Danlo: Lebbick is somewhat older than Rourke I think. And I also imagine him as "brawny in the more old fashioned way", meaning muscles hidden under a little more flesh than Rourke can boast.

What? Is he "a la di da poofter" IRL too? Or is it just his roles in Wilde and Peters Friends that makes you think thus?amanibhavam wrote:I can't see Fry as a seductor unless he'd have to seduct Geraden
And I agree with Danlo btw: Malkovitch!

Yes, he falls for his own gender. No big deal, he does not fuss about it too much.
I love his Q.I quizshow. Brilliant.
He'd make a good Pitchwife too.
