I'm confused. Can't you just click on the link provided, and then click again on the "Click here to begin reading chapter 2" provided on his home page? You're two clicks of a mouse from reading it. You're not that lazy are you?

There's even another link on his page for the Adobe PDF format.

No. They never folded space, either. The Holtzman (Or Holzzman, or any of the variant spellings Herbert used over 5000 years or so of story time) folded Space. What the navigators did was use massive quantities of spice to improve their weak prescience to the point where they could 'predict' a safe path through foldspace, based on the idea in Herbert's Dune that the oracle didn't see the future, he created it.

edit: Above should read Holtzman ENGINES, not Noltzman (Or

Alas, life prevents me from being on here as much as I used to be. But, even if I could be on here 24/7 for the next five years, I would never catch up to...what was it???...22 thousand???

Oh, and back on topic...just one thing to say about the first snippet of Chapter 2...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Glimmermere!!! :D :D
