When I worked in collections at Citbank we verified this one guy's purchashes at Victoria's Secret with his wife, to which she replied, "I've never received a gift from there, I'm going to divorce that cheating bastard!!!" :P

Danlo: :haha:

It's snowing here in DC, too. We had big, fat flakes a little while ago, but it seems to be tapering off now -- or maybe it's changing over to the dreaded "wintry mix". Ugh. :P The forecast was calling for something like 1 to 3 inches before the changeover. Which will probably happen just in time for the evening rush hour....

My boss who's out on maternity leave was supposed to come in and take me to lunch today, but she begged off because of the weather. So no free lunch for ali today. But on the bright side, the sandwich place that's always packed to the gills was virtually empty. Apparently all the office workers are huddling inside so they don't get snowed on. Wimps....

The girlfriend kicked me in the nuts while sleeping last night. At least she says she was sleeping...

I hurt today.

Cloudy but hot as hell...or it was today anyway. It's 20h40 for me now, and we've got no damned electricity down on the coast, thanks to load-shedding etc.

Lucky we've got a generator for the main house, and I just hooked the PC up to the UPS a couple days ago. :D

Drinking a decent Cabernet Sauvingnon, perusing the Watch, plotting for Pantheon, and enjoying probably my 30th cigarette of the day. :D I love holidays. :D

(Er, I mean unemployment. :D )

I'm having my third, drinking water and freezing my ass off.

If I hooked my PC up to the UPS I'd be running down the street screaming at a brown truck!

Feeling very good. I did manage to go out and jog last night, despite the snow. I'm also finishing my prologue, in a sudden creative explosion. Just when you think you're completely out of gas, the tank fills itself. Wish it were true with cars.

I don't get snow here in SF but it is chilly outside. Luckily I have a good space heater and a live chihuahua lap warmer.

It's been snowing today. Probably will be a pain driving home. My lap warmer Boston Terrier is at home. Hes' probably pulling something off the table to chew on right now. :)

I'm lucky that I can bring my Moose monster to work. In fact my customers are disappointed if he isn't here.

I don't mind when it snows as long as something actually comes of it. Its' a bit anti-climatic to have big beautiful snow flakes, fall steady for 3 hours and nothing on the ground to show for it......rrrr

While we're on the weather theme: yes, it's snowing outside right now. A big cold front just came our way, and we're expected to be in a deep freeze for a little while. A windchill value of -43 is predicted for tomorrow. And I walk to work. I might walk a little faster tomorrow.

I feel horrible. Bad dreams. School was canceled due to snow. I guess I didn't have to do my math homework after all.

EDIT: Av, what's 20h50, etc, mean?

24 hour clock EL. 20h50 is 8:50PM. Now its 22h23: 10:23PM. Saves am/pm confusion.
