I didn't have any problems, though I never went through any steps before with continents and all that. I just figured it would be better if we were on the same continent, so I went to Av's.

I thought that at first as well, Stone. But Sylvania is also over 200 million GDP, and he moved without a problem.Stonemaybe wrote:worth checking out
Edit - this is interesting: still can't move, but I wonder if it's due to the comparative size of Inis Rua and The Illumined, menolly? Our GDP are huge compared to the other nations in world 88 - so thinking about it, there isn't going to be the volume of goods available on the world market to satisfy our needs - or if there is, and we buy enough for our needs, it'll leave very little left for the comparatively much smaller needs of the other countries.
To back this up, my other nation, Tory, just moved to world 88 without a problem. I only set up Tory a couple of weeks ago, so it has a population of 2 million or so and a GDP of 3million, so it fits in well on world 88.
Understood. But did you actually leave Oceania on World 7 before switching? If so, how? I'm not seeing an option to leave Asia on World 20.Syl wrote:I didn't have any problems, though I never went through any steps before with continents and all that. It's gonna be tough. I was making a lot of money off of cars, but the price here is 1/5 what it was on my old world.

I logged off, emptied cache and cookies via "Clear Private Data" in Firefox, and also tried using IE 7, which I never used for the game before, and still received the same error...
I've posted in the dev forum. I hope an answer will be forthcoming by the start of the new work week.
I'm just afraid World 88 will fill before then...

You could create a new one there just in case.

Now that's a better option than creating a new nation, I think.
I'll still hold off until I have to though.
I picked my issues carefully to have the GDP, industries and style of government I currently have. I would prefer to not have to rebuild, if I can help it.
Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll keep it in mind if I must start again to get on to World 88.

*sigh*
Alright.
I still can't get The Illumined to switch, but World 88 is filling up fast, so The Freelands of Rautha have been created on World 88. I'm in Asia for now, and have sent a request to receive an invite to The Andelainian Alliance.
I hope having one world already there won't prevent me from switching The Illumined to World 88. But, I guess one of us has already done it, so hopefully it will work eventually, if the World doesn't fill up before I'm able to switch.
I look forward to interacting with you all again.

Well, my GDP took about an 80% dive (though I currently rank 3rd on world 88 by GDP). Luckily, I don't have any unsatisfied needs.
