I hate myself for this one...

The Postman.

That's right, The damn Postman. I know, it has nearly nothing to do with the book, and it's blatantly manipulative, but I get sucker-punched every time I see the scene when Costner gets to Pineview Station.

Because it's not considered cool to like Kevin Costner. I think he gets a bad rap.

Postman had promise, but it wasn't great. I don't like Costner myself, but I do think Waterworld was a good movie. I still watch it every now and then and enjoy it.

That's the one with Clint Eastwood, right? I actually like that one.

No thank you; I saw it when I saw Godzilla '84. It was the highlight of that movie, too.

Edward Scissorhands - When Depp is making the ice sculpture
Schindler's List - When he collapses and despairs because he could have done MORE
Children of Men - When all the fighting stops suddenly because of the screaming child.

There are tears of JOY not sorrow, and that's what makes these movies so special to me.
