This evening is off to a great start. I come home to find that Mani chewed up my microphone, and now I cut my finger opening the can for his dinner.

Bad dog!

I've got the headache from hell...but I'm trying to still be productive. So far I've written about 1000 words on my best seller (and that only took me a couple of weeks). I should be 90 by the time I'm finished!

That's 1,000 more words than I've written for my best seller, and I've been working on it for 6 or 7 years (I have a lot of background material for it though). Good luck with your writing!

For the past few days I've been trying to decide whether or not I should feel horrible. A couple of days ago I was talking on the phone with a friend when I realized I hadn't eaten anything yet that day, and it was already almost 3pm. This happens occasionally, especially when I sleep in and then am busy for a while. I'm usually not concerned about it because my body can handle waiting for a few more hours, and I snack into the evening to make up the calories. When my friend told me I needed to eat something right away, I told her that I could wait a bit yet and it wasn't like I was anorexic where it would be an issue. She then told me that she was in a group to deal with her anorexia, and I was the third person she told. I immediately apologized and asked if she was offended (she said she wasn't), but I can't help but think it made her feel bad. I imagine she wouldn't have informed me of it if I hadn't stuck my foot in my mouth. I've known her for four years and had no suspicions of her having anorexia, so I was really surprised. Now I'm not sure how to handle it.

Take what she said at face value. She wasn't offended, you didn't and couldn't have known about it, no harm, no foul.

I agree with Avatar, if anything it was a friend who had gone through some hard times trying to make sure their friends don't have the same experiance. I wouldn't worry too much over whether or not you offended her ('cause if you did, you'll hear about it eventually :P )

I woke up with a slight headache and a kinda sicky stomach... couldn't have anything to do with the massive amounts of alcohol I consumed last night. Feeling good over all, I remember everything including throwing up in front of a police officer (no ticket, possibly because I did it in a trash can) and the stumbling walk home. Right now, I need to find something really greasy...

At least you weren't driving, Orlion....

Auleliel, I agree with the Av and Orlion. No way you could've known. I bet *she* feels a little embarrassed, too, jumping in and assuming you're anorexic because you hadn't eaten all day. :)

I'm very mad at my older sister-she never communicates and I just found out that she's been in the hospital with a wicked colitis-through my dad who learned it from my little sister-who called her! She didn't even call her own dad! Grrrrr

Nice scooter, CJ! How does it do on the hills?

I've thought about getting a Vespa, but if one of these lighter scooters can handle going up and down inclines adequately, I might broaden what I'm considering.

This is what I did this weekend.... well, Ryan did this particular one but I did some hard four wheeling in his jeep too.

It's technically not a scooter, it's a moped and I haven't had it on the hills yet, we just got it running last week. It was sitting in a garage for ten years. I'll let you know when I get it registered and can actually drive it out on the streets.

That can look jarring if you roll off those rocks wrong, Jenn. :P

Softball tonight at 8:30. The weather is cold and a little rainy, but not enough to cancel the game. Too bad. I really don't feel like going out tonight after being out till midnight last night.

My best seller is only 1000 words long, and I didn't even write it.

Brisk bout with insomnia last night. Woke up the wife a little after one. Didn't help. Played mindless internet games from about 3-4. Up at 5 and drinking Twisted Tea. Now feeling that unique buzz/energized Twisted Tea jolt.

thanks for the good wishes, I need them. I may just visit NM someday. I have always wanted to see Santa Fe.....where I am told the artiste live in sublime contentedness. Looks really beautiful there.

And hey.......it's not joysee, and someone here told me it gets better when you leave the garden state.
