Forgive jacob Raver's abhorrence for your leafy green profusion, Morinmoss. Rest assured that the rest of us are lichen it. :)

Welcome!

Good luck.
I chose the username for seveal reasons:

1. It wasn't taken
2. The chapter in Lord Foul's Bane, where the Quest travelled through the
forest was so rich in imagery - I could imagine the tendrils of moss
brushing across my cheek with an icy chill.
3. I love forests!

Welcome to the Watch! I, too, happen to be a third of the way through my re-read of TPTP... it's what I do to remain sane.
StevieG wrote:I did a similar thing to you regarding the Chronicles - discovered Runes after its release, but before FR (and it was a painful wait, but not nearly as painful as waiting for AATE....)
Oh, it's maddening! I only pray that the pain will be alleviated in a few months with a trailer and a sneak peek at the first couple of chapters... I can't imagine the intensity of the insanity of people who have followed it since RotE. Mister Morinmoss, you've picked a good time to discover the Last Chronicles... I envy you, sir

Hi,
Just registered because I found the discussions insightful as well as entertaining. Am anxiously waiting word of AATE and spent a good hour going over the posts in that forum. Big SRD fan and have also read the Gap series as well as The Mirror of Her Dreams, etc. I hope to contribute as much as I take away from Kevin's Watch.

Hail and be true, Morinmoss.
I have no doubt that anyone here shall approach you with bladed weapons nor fire.
Fear not! We are a like-able (if not a bit crazy) bunch around here.
Fell free to jump into any discussions.
Have you hugged your arghule today?

Hail and well met, Morinmoss! :welcome:

I live in the forest, here in the mountains of Oregon! So, I can identify with your love of them. :-)

Oregon is beautiful! I live in western Washington - so I'm often in the forest as well!

Hail and welcome Morinmoss. :D
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.
