oy vey...
I am an idiot yet again.
I keep forgetting about the default setting on the phoogle.
OK Guns.
If you access the phoogle by clicking on the link in the bottom of your posts, that should take you to a version of the phoogle which will only show you and would look like this.
Now, for the general phoogle that is accessed via the link in the toolbar and shows all Watchers...
When I click on it, the phoogle is defaulted to only show the first 20 Watchers in alphanumeric order, so it looks like this:
Yeah, very few of us are showing up on that version.
Look in the upper right corner, where I circled in light blue. You'll see that it currently says there are 337 Watchers mapped, but only 20 are being shown.
In this next image, I entered to show 350 Watchers, more than is currently mapped, and then scrolled down to highlight you. This is the phoogle with all current Watchers showing, adjusted to show you as listed:
Give this a try, and see if that helps you to see yourself on the map.

how does one thank someone for their post. i have seen under peoples avatars where it says how many post they have and what not that it also shows how many times they have been thanked. is there a button to click to thank someone for their post or something?
(sorry but i am new to this kind of forum)

Do you see the button in the upper right that says "Good Post?" Click on that and the post will then list you as having thanked it.
You may wish to PM the poster, or post in the same thread as the post, that you did thank the post. The number of thanks shows up in the count under the poster's avatar, but no notification of which post is thanked is sent. For those who notice they have been thanked for a post, this can be a lesson in frustration, especially if the post is an older one someone only recently came across.
But regardless of if you notify the poster or not, I know for me, seeing the "thanked" number increase under my avatar is always a welcome sight.

It is indeed! I have noticed that some posts say "Thanked by: " - so does that mean all I need to do is go through all my posts and see if there's a "Thanked by: " after it? Should only take a couple of months I suppose...Menolly wrote:Isn't that just the most frustrating thing ever???StevieG wrote:EDIT: Just noticed I have 1 thanks!! Woo hoo! Unless someone posts that they "thanked" a post in the Spotlight thread, or the thread the post appears in, or as I suggested above, PMs the poster they thanked, there seems to be no way to call up a list of the posts one was thanked for.

Har de har!! Says he who has been thanked 21 times! I am thankful I was thanked, but it is such a shock because usually I just skirt around the edges and say nothing profound that I'd like to know who thanked me. Bah, whatever! Just be grateful Stevie!

Well, Stevie, I never did thank you for that time when...no, wait, that might have been someone else. But thanks, anyway, guy!
Seriously, I never kept track of the "Thanks" I got. One day I looked and saw I had been thanked 21 times and I went: what???
Still a neat feature to have, don't get me wrong.
