Interesting. Covenant is way hotter (and younger) here than in my minds eye. Of course that might just be because I am like 30 years older than when I first read the books. I started off reading about an older man than me and now I'm reading about a younger man than me. Ahhhhh, the eternal life of the written hero.................
I like the artwork, it is consistent with the other covers. Not sure I understand the outfit but maybe that will be revealed in the book to follow.

The loudest truth I ever heard was the softest sound.

Sea, I think Romeo just didn't tell you about the alternate painting of him that was deemed too risqué.
You're a dedicated man, Romeo, going above and beyond the call of duty!
I get it now: all the Last Chronicles covers are adhering to the strict design of a centrally posed figure. Shall we start making bets as to who will be on The Last Dark?
(I do like these covers, Mr. Palencar, but where are the hawt ladies of the Chronicles? It's all been guys holding staffs so far. That sounds Freudian, but you know what I mean.)

Not to cast aspersions on what Sea and Romeo have had to say in-thread, but aren't they (along with Jenn) sworn to secrecy in regard to any aspect of the content of the forthcoming volume? Do we need to treat all this as misdirection?

Don't, my first reaction was that it was good 'ol Covenant, and we all know I'm not dumblorin wrote:do I feel dumb or what....................Prover of Life wrote:I don't think that's Covenant. Look at his fingers. No half-hand.
I think that is going to be Harrow. Or Kevin?
Either way... I like it.

excuse my ignorance, but there's a cover with Esmer on it ?Romeo wrote:My only observation so far is that the editors seem to be asking for the characters with funky eyes. Wildwood, Esmer, The Harrow (which is who I assume this is - the picture came to me without caption or explanation *grin*).
I did a wee Google search but couldnt find anything - anyone have a link ?
