Maybe it would help him to know that total strangers on an Internet chat board are pulling for him? Because I know I am.

Sorry to hear about that lorin...it pisses me off that there's always some jiggerhead who insists on screwing things up for the rest of the people there. I think that's kinda how I feel about the Pakistan floods - if they didn't harbour terrorists, I think the West would be more likely to send more aid. But then, I'm a ZPG & planetarian, not a humanitarian bone in my body...I believe Mother Nature is taking matters into her own hands in overpopulated countries and I won't interfere with what to me is 'natural selection'.

*waits for the flak from that statement to start flying*

Well, I'm in a rant mode as the frakking prawns in MY country just voted in a socialist bitch who will totally f*ck over the working people...democracy my butt. We live in a totalitarian Marxist state, controlled by the politicians and welfare lobby lining their own pockets, greasing up the UN and completely a$$-ramming their own countrymen.

I wanna move to Antarctica. The penguins would be better company than humans. And I won't have to work til I'm 80 to pay for all the welfare whores sucking this country dry.
*grumble bitchbitch grizzle grouch*

sorry guys - gone for months & when I do turn up, I just bitch & moan... But you gotta love my new avatar at least!! ;)

I was offered a senior position at my gaol today. Of course, I accepted it. 83 grand wage, here I come. However, the position is temporary - but that could mean anything.

Beautiful avatar, Elfy. :D And glad to see you around. :D

And, Lore, do we spell it "gaol" here? Not taking the piss...just wondering. Or are you being "Bwitish"? ;)

As for me. Meh. Ya know, it's just been one of those days/two days/week. Sometimes I get tired of saying "I understand, that's ok, it's better than nothing." Sometimes I want to say, "Give me it all or just f*** off!" Sometimes I think I deserve it all!!! :P

Just uploaded a couple of pics into the KW Motley Crew album of me flying a 737-800!! Best. Sim. Ever! (well, the P-3 Orion I did last year was great too, except the Air Force didn't give me a DVD of the occasion!

know that 'give it all' feeling - I feel like screaming "GIVE ME MY F*CKING TAX BACK SO I CAN SPEND IT ON MYSELF" right now...

Well technically, 'gaol' is the correct spelling. And yes, I refuse to write the Australian version ;)

Yeah, I am not happy either that Gillard (Labour) got in. Amazing, an election where the independents had all the power.

I had a nice lazy day. Now I am lounging some more. My mom sent me a super cute bee t-shirt with European honey bees in flight with big orange pollen sacks on their legs. It's pretty awesome. Congrats Lore.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

I had to go home early today. The city decided to go with this ecosafe bug spray that has so many oils - wintergreen, cinnamon, rosemary, bitter something, peppermint. I was at work 5 minutes and heaving out my guts. Had headaches, my heart was pounding. yuck. So I got home and walked up and down the hills for an hour. Really broke a sweat and it's true, it clears your mind. I feel better. It was hard to get started but once I started I was glad.

Eight people went home sick. That'll teach everyone to try an be healthy
The loudest truth I ever heard was the softest sound.

Clearly that stuff repels people -- but what about the bugs?

First day back at work after vacation, and the boss asked me to stay late. *Really* late. Like, I may not get out of here 'til midnight or so. Oh well, I get OT and a free meal out of it, and I may come in a little late tomorrow....

I think they misplaced their 'power'...they had a chance to be REALLY independent, and force another election! The two-party system HAS to be smashed, and if this is the start of it, then we should have MORE independents running for the next election. Who knows, we MAY end up with a REAL democracy then...and perhaps the 'silent majority' will have their voice heard over the bleating whining minorities for a change????

at least you GET overtime, aliantha... :?

Hope you're recovering lorin (did that stuff kill any bugs btw?)

Lucky Jenn...I need a day or two of complete laziness just to get back to below normal!!

Menolly & variol son Hiya!!

I thought about suggesting that, but the Tank already has enough posts. :| ;)

Elfy, I've worked jobs where they don't pay you OT. And I've worked jobs where they're supposed to pay you OT but claim they don't have the money to do it. This is way better. 8)

I was supposed to do laundry last night but I got lazy so I figured I would get up early and do it before work so I set my alarm and got up when it went off and I've been puttering around and then I realized it was an hour earlier than I thought. I must have accidentally hit the time button when changing the alarm time. No biggie, more time to putter. :D

So I was coming back from swapping my laundry from washer to dryer and there was some crazy asian lady walking really aggressively in this odd pattern in blocks in front of the apartment building gate. I tried to walk around her but she kept getting directly in my way then she started yelling at me that the signal stopped and pointed back up the street so I looked and was like, "Ok." Then tried to get in my building again and she kept blocking me so I walked a bit away from the door and she was side stepping with her back to me so I ran for it and made it to the door. What an odd surreal moment.
