Hail all. I am Runnik. Perhaps you've heard my tale? :o In any event, I am new to this site, but old to the "Chronicles". I was excited to learn that "The Final Chronicles of Thomas Covenant" is in the works. I have read and re-read the first six books more times than I care to mention. I always seem to find something new or gain a perspective that I had missed previously. I hope the final set of Chronicles does not disappoint.

Welcome, Runnik! We all have high hopes for The Last Chronicles. Be sure to check out the official Donaldson website to see what the man himself has to say about writing the final Covenant books.

Welcome Runnik! I'm a Raver! Hey, don't throw that at me. Throw it at the Creators. They've been Corrupted. :)

With foes like that, Runnik, you need all the kinsmen you can get!

Ravers!!

Thank you all for your kind welcome. (Moksha, I know a Forestal that is anxious to meet you.) It is nice to be in the company so many Covenant devotees. You know, what hooked me on TCOTC was the fact that the Covenant's disbelief stood in stark contrast to the endless march of protagonists in most other tales that have what I would characterize as a "Hile Troy" mentality. I wonder if there any other authors or works that any of you would recommend that so effectively capture ultimate power coupled with the dread of it's use...

Fist and Faith, we will not fail!

Welcome Moksha and Runnik. It is impossible to corrupt the Creators, as we are perfect. However, I hope you enjoy your time here.

*looks at the two haruchai* I was only trying to be nice. :( No one ever stops to think that I might be trying to be nice. You're all a bunch of calloused meanies! :( Now, kindly explain why you have a tatoo of a heart with my sister's name in it on your rear?

*sigh* Even if you are mean, glad to be here. :)

Durris, I repeat, why do you have a heart-shaped tatoo with my sister's name on it on your backside?

Because that's what she asked for in lieu of an engagement ring, brother-in-law dear.

Hello everyone.

I'm a misanthropic Revelstone dweller.
I like "Chronicles..." and "Second Chronicles..." very much.
Your forum is very interesting.

Turiya Foul wanted to marry you? 8O Now there's a scary thought. Even scarier than Sam with spiky hair. So, tell me, if you two are married, why did my beloved sister never mention you? Is it, perhaps, because she didn't get her say in the planing? I've heard that you haruchai can be quite, um, shall we say, willful, at times.
Anyway, I hope you are thinking of getting an annulment, because my sister isn't old enough for any of that. Yes, born at the dawn of Time, but it matters naught. Kindly stay away from my sister... else, we shall set the demons on you, if you come around again.

p.s.- My sister is not a common harlot! You've a mind that would make Jordan Zeh squirm.
