The Shining Sequel

Post by Vraith »

Heh...did folk know about this??

Doctor Sleep

Anyone care?
Anyone think [or hope] it will be really good?

I do, in a mild way...mostly because I quite liked the first one [though it's been a long time, wonder if I'd still like it?]

the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

I'd heard there was a sequel contemplated... didn't know he'd actually written it yet.

The last couple King books have been pretty good, after a long drought. Hopefully this one will be :)

I had heard about it being written but I don't keep up with modern literature so I wasn't aware that it had already been published and available. I guess I will have to track this one down but probably after I finish The Last Dark. hrm....TLD and Wasteland 2 both are due in October--I am going to have a busy fall, it seems.
The Tank is gone and now so am I.

First I heard about it.

Hmmm...I'll probably read it if I come across it, but not too worried.

He stole the bit about the cat from real life btw.
