Doesn't seem like a strong music year so far. Will need a strong second half to compete with the last two years.

1. Plumb - Need You Now
2. Johnny Marr - The Messinger
3. Kerli - Utopia
4. Country Mice - Hour of the Wolf
5. Sarah Bareilles - The Blessed Unrest
6.Natalie Maines - Mother
7. One Republic - Native
8. Charlotte Church - Two
9. Nerina Pallot - Lonely Hearts Club

Pyyramids - Brightest Darkest Day
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Mosquito

I don't keep up enough with new music, so short list.

Black Sabbath - 13: If you're a Black Sabbath fan, their new album is really good. Sounds like the old days.

I know my list will always be short or ignorant of some genres I'm not into, like C&W, Heavy metal, so look forward to seeing what others think. :)

Forgot to post this one in my earlier post. If you're into bluesy-rock, check out Orianthi: Heaven in this Hell.

She plays an awesome guitar (she plays with Alice Cooper's live band) and has a great voice.

My friend from "Oz" is always bragging about her. I like Lisa Mitchell, but he keeps telling me I really ought to be more into Orianthi. I like what little I've heard of her. Will give this one a try.

Spock's Beard - Brief Nocturnes and Dreamless Sleep.

Frankly, I don't think anything else I'd be inclined to buy this year will come close to it.

I think I may have bought only one current album this year.
Nanobots - They Might Be Giants.

It wins by default, but would be good competition regardless.

Alt-J should get a mention for An Awesome Wave.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. 5 Katy Perry - Prism
6. Jars of Clay - Inland
7. Sarah Brightman - Dreamchaser
8. Plumb - Need You Now
9. James Blunt - Moon Landing
10. Charlotte Church - Two (EP)
11. Nerina Pallot - Lonely Valentine Club (EP)
12. Lee DeWyze - Frames
