Only jewellery I wear is 3 small hoops in my left ear. They were silver for 20 years, but I just switched them to black surgical steel a few weeks ago.

Glad you're doing well. Truthfully, I'm not so great. Been having some very weird dreams. I think I need to make some changes in my life.

And, one other thing. I hesitate to say this, but I keep hearing my own voice, like I'm talking to myself.

I had a white gold ring with my first wedding. I realize now that it isn't really ensuring that the wedding stays together, does it? Anyway, we divorced a year later. With my wife Carla, we still haven't bothered getting rings, and I feel no desire to, nor do I feel the desire to stray like I did with my first marriage. So there is that.

Yes lorin, it is a little sad. But that's the way things seem to be going.

I'm feeling... redundant - but it will pass I'm sure!

I don't remember if you wear jewelry but I have a pair for you.

So, as for me, one step forward and 2 steps back.

Back Step 1- I whacked my car again backing into the driveway.

But the BIG 2 step back - apparently I have been clenching my teeth this year due to stress. I fractured my 2 back teeth that have already had caps and root canal. The teeth are not salvageable. I have to have implants. My dental doesn't cover implants. $8000.00

lorin,

That is positively frightening. I hope that bill isn't gonna cause any other problems. Do your back teeth hurt at all?

Only when I chew, swallow or breathe. If I hold my breath, don't eat and don't drink then no problem at all

Aww! :) I don't have pierced ears, but if you work it into a necklace, I'll wear it with pride.

Back teeth? Why not just remove them? Won't be noticeable.

Hell NO! Its 2 lower back next to each other. Aside from my vanity issues, the endodontist (who is not doing the implant) says that it will throw off the bite on my upper teeth. I plan to go to my grave with a full set of permanent teeth. Now I'm not saying they will be the ones I am born with but they will be mine. Apparently this is just another outcome of 20 years of civil service, clenching my teeth to prevent tearing out someone's throat.
