Thanks for the advice Quee.
Stone, if you haven't seen it already, there's a decent article about Seol on F365:

Thanks Trap! Can't remember how my lot got on because watched Match of the Day (videoed) after getting home from a very thirsty night out!

Updated! There is only a 16 point gap between Stone and Trap, one player messing up and doing really well could change it all. I so far off it is untrue.
There is also some infomation on the January Transfer window on the first page.

Updated and Stone is way way out in the lead(well to me anyway). Trapper can still catch up though.

(We need a 'big head' emoticon!

)
What's the situation with substitutes then? Did we have to say who they were before the game started?
Did anyone see that Nakamura goal for Celtic last night!!!!!!!!

Ya don't get subs! If we are around next year and we make another game, I'll introduce a sub system.
That was good goal for Celtic, Man U shouldn't have been lazy going into the game. Man U do not have any depth in Squad. Rooney and Saha are worldclass strikers but what worldclass stricker comes on for them?

Ya don't get subs
Sheesh! How come you two have subbed players then?

No, we(Trapper) made replacements in out squads. You missed that oppertunity a long time ago. Wait until Jan.

No point updating it now because there will be more games during the week.

I know that there are games on tonight and tomorrow but I fought I would update this anyway. There has been a change at the top.

OMG!
*engages in Kevin Keegan style rant*
"He's gone down in my estimation...
I would love it if we beat Stonecerts! I would love it!"
PS I vote that when the transfer window opens we stay with the idea that no player can play for two teams, and Quee gets first dibs on the surprising performers. Three-way race would be best.
Although there will be rumours that Quee, because of his reputed membership of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. (think James Bond) has managed to coerce the said players into joining his side...

How are we going to work that one.
1. Two of us have Campbell
2. What someone wants the same player? How do we decide who gets who?

IMO if you pick Campbell, you get Campbell.
You've had shocking luck with your players (eg Zokora getting games only once you'd dropped him), so I think you deserve to get the best of the transfer window.
Unless Stone disagrees...

. Two of us have Campbell
Aye! but who had him from the start?
I'm easy on this. But I do think it's a bit odd that if you do a transfer you get that player's points from the start of the season. or did I read that wrong? Can we not draw a line under our points total up to say January 15th then start again with all the players on zero. at the end of season we add up both halves for the winner? Obviously i have no idea how the scoring works so this might be far too much work for Quee.....

I thought that was a bit odd as well. For me it means one very simple change. Get rid of my "dodgy keeper". I spent a fair bit on him, so I should be able to afford any other keeper except maybe Shay Given (I haven't checked up on that yet, I may be wrong).
The points I will get from that alone... seem a bit wrong. Unless the new keeper is sent back in the Official League Time-Machine (or OLTM, as it's known in the trade

).

We start on 0 each week... in some sense. Let me explain.
I have Keane and Campbell. This week Keane gets 8 and Campbell gets 2, that makes 10. My points this week is 10
Next week Keane gets 12 and Campbell gets 8, this makes 20.
I do not add that 20 on 10. My points this week is 20 not 30. If I was adding all the points like that, we would be on scores of 1500.
You get a new player in, I simply add the points he gets this week to your total.
I also wouldn't look at those team sheets, I have been very lazy and not updated them. I will soon though.
