Hey James! Do a lot of those moves have something in common with Capoeira Angola? (The Brazilian martial art-that many say breakdancing originated from)?

Parkour... not really. Tricking, however, has influences from a lot of martial arts, not least Capoeira.

My friend (6' 7') who first showed me Capoeira in '92 was always bouncing off trees, climbing things and tumbling--he told me the real hard cores in Brazil during the slavery revolutions held knives in both hands and feet! 8O

Well, when it comes to Capoeira, my favourite video is the first guy who fights Tony Jaa in this scene from Tom Yum Goong.

Ok, back to uniform discussion, I think we should go for cute because I think if we wore the victoria secret stuff you suggested it might be problematic...especially the shoes, if we try to fight in those on the sand it is gonna look more like the special olympics pillowfighting.....

I suggest you three ladies rent a copy of Shanghai nights; it has a wonderfully filmed pillow fight, and the wardrobes are very appropriate for that kind of thing. Consider it a training video, if you will.

Oh, I must have misunderstood, I thought you had suggested those shoes in one of the victoria secret links...

I was planning barefoot and I was thinking maybe outfits along the lines of the hello kitty pj's that were suggested before....

Aren't the Hello Kitty ones adorable? They come in different colors too. . :D

I love me some Hello Kitty. Its my biggest concession to girliness. . right after my love of cute shoes. The fact that I wear skirts constantly doesn't really count. . . I do that because I'm quite petite and it's easier to buy skirts that don't need hemmed than pants. :P

Anywho. . . Uniforms. . and fitting into them . . . must get on to toning myself up for the main event. We need a trainer. . . hmmm. . . wonder where we would find one of those? ;)

Lyr, I am with you on the hello kitty. I LOVES me some hello kitty. I must admit that my current pajama collection consists mostly of happy bunny stuff. Not sure if you are familiar with happy bunny or not but right now it says "I love boys, they're stupid" across my butt! I totally think that all of us should choose something cute and cottony rather than lacy and racy. Cottony would certainly be easier to move in.

Thankfully we just got a treadmill so I can walk and read every night in the basement. 8O 8O
