I'm going to stick with my plan to go through Denver. Prices went down but not that much. Anyway, if I'm on vacation, the drive should be part of the fun.

I'll probably fly into Denver on Thursday the 31st and catch a game at Coors Field (Colorado is playing St. Louis), and drive down on Friday morning. I'd head back either Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.

If anyone is still thinking of going through Denver, let me know.

okey dokey

i'm not sure which way but i'll either ride to Albuquerque with you girls OR ride home with you. haven't figured out which yet. you see i have a girlfriend who lives there and i will be there longer than the rest of the Elohimfest.

i have to coordinate with her whether it's best for me to come the week before the fest and go home with you on sunday or whether i should ride to albuquerque with you all and stay after you go home.

i'll give her a call this week and find out which works for her.

WOOOO HOOOO!!!! this is gonna be GREAT!

(somebody start workin on convincing Cail he needs to come!!) and bring his kilt

WOW that sounds like a lot of fun! I'd love to see a game at Coors Field. I'm certain that I would not be able to take Thursday off, or else I'd be there. The biggest logistical problem I have with driving down from Denver on Friday is that the earliest arrival from Knoxville is around 1230 Mountain Time, so by the time I pick up luggage and meet up with you, we'd be looking at a 2pm leave Denver time (and not arriving in Alq until late Friday night.) OTOH I can leave Knoxville, connect through Houston and arrive in Albq about 1230pm. For me, I think that's the best way to go.

Cail should get off his tail and join us for the dorkfest. HAHAHAAHA! I told SRD in email that I was totally excited about my first dorkfest where I will get to hang out with my own kind! He thought that was funny.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

He knows what it's like to meet us, but he probably figures you don't know what you're in for.

Hell, even we seasoned E-festers don't know what we've in for when the West Coast Girls hit town! 8O (Maybe my old pre Elohimfest '04 dream really will come true: drinking wine with SRD and crazy women and running around town, at night, on Vespas)
fall far and well Pilots!

He can hug you all he wants as far as I'm concerned.

I know that he wouldn't do that to me. He'd probably recognize me from asking that "In the beginning" question last time.

I missed my chance at seeing a game there last time. I passed through Denver on the way back from the last Elohimfest with the intention of catching a game there. I'd seen games in St. Louis and Phoenix on the trip. The problem was that I was there on the night that they did their 4th of July fireworks there and the place was sold out for the only game aside from opening day.

well my girlfriend in albuquerque, Daniella, who you will all undoubtedly meet, says she'd like me to stay after you guys leave so in all likelihood i'll ride down with you and Wadds, jenn. i still have to work it out with work tho so don't count on me on the road trip just yet.

i'm almost all set. once i talk to the work gurus, i'll buy my tickets!! YAY!!
oh and daniella said she's got room for one tent in her backyard if someone wants to camp there too.

danlo, daniella lives walking distance from UNM campus almost at the corner of Girard and...what is that big street? Central? whatever that main boulevard is there that Uof NM is on. that's pretty near you isn't it?
i'll have to look on the city map to be sure.

Phooey, Sea and FF!

Okay, I'm in. Damelon, if the ride offer still holds, I'll ride down with you from Denver to ABQ. I'm also flying into Denver on Thursday, but I'll skip the ballgame (especially if the Rockies play this season the way they did last year...).

I'm going to fly out of ABQ on the way back, though -- planning to stay 'til Tuesday and see the O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe that morning, which I have wanted to do for YEARS. Yay!
