i have tried many wines and have yet to find one that i liked.

Wine is good..I'm more of a fan of the cheaper stuff.
But you can't sit around a campfire sipping on a glass of wine.
You can't go fishing and bring along a bottle of Wine.
You can't drink wine while watching a hockey game-or any sport-except maybe ice dancing.
You can't go down to the Legion or the bar or the pub, shoot some pool, throw some darts; while polishing off a few glasses of wine.
But you can do all of that with a beer.

i forgot. i have enjoyed many bottles of Boons Farm. sitting around talking with friends.

Well, tomorrow I'm going to drink some Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. Dark and smooth with hints of everything from Chinese food to chocolate; an almost chewy texture. Sounds like my kind of stuff. Can't stand vodka, what my friend drinks. Gimme flavor!

Boons does't really qualify as wine.
It's more of a fruit flavoured sweet-beer.

i've been around MANY a campfire in Red River Gorge, passin around bottles of german wine and sittin on the banks of the Kentucky River with the same...fishin...or walkin along the banks of the Seine with a bottle of good french red...shot many a game of pool over glasses of champagne...tho it's true, i don't watch hockey OR play darts, but if i DID, i'd probably want a shot or two of bourbon or tequila. pft. beer. yeast sh*t.

did i mention that we were in the seedy part of the Chelsea district? and the gay leather bar at the end of the street? and that lawyer/wall street types were ducking behind a dunpster and changing from suit & tie to leather gear? NYC!
