Ok, I got this one.
Hyrim speaking to Shetra about the correlation between the trap of Hoerkin and Soaring Woodhelven during their trip thru Sarangrave.

Well lets see, I need to think of a good one...
this one's probably too easy but I try it anyway.
Well, you must pardon me. In times of trouble, some Lords behave strangely."
Good luck

I assumed variol son was
always right, and didn't bother looking. Now I'll have to get busy!

I'm guessing Hyrim, but can't find it yet.

Of COURSE I was wrong. It was Mhoram, not Prothal, who said that. I can't for the life of me remember where it happens though, but it is SOMEWHERE in Lord Foul's Bane I think, not long after TC becomes ur-Lord.

Why thank you Fist.

My expertise is generally limited to the first chronicles however. I have owned them for the past ten yeras, since I was 11. I read borrowed copies of the second chronicles and I only bought my own last year.

You're very close VS, but you'll have to narrow it down a little more. Mhoram did alot of talking, you know.

Mhoram and TC have climbed up the gully by Teacher's Gorge together, and Mhoram shows TC the Land. TC goes on about Mhoram trying to win his co-operation, then says something about making his 'peace'. THAT is when Mhoram talks about some Lords acting strangely.
Finally.
