Is the humor how things all blend together?
The one I posted? No, not really.
Non-observant American Jews, at least those in NYC, make jokes about going out for Chinese on Chr-stmas, as Chinese restaurants tended to be one of the few types of restaurants which were open on Chr-stmas day. The rest is just commenting on how Hanukkah tends to overlap Chr-stmas many years, and how many Jewish families spend that day, as most likely they are off work and school as well.

Maybe it takes a special "Linna" twisted perspective; maybe I make the ironies do a flip-flop from what was originally intended.
(1 in a hundred billion [0.00000000001 chance, I think] is such an unacceptably high probability. plus... oh no!! raising a child who's -actually- perfect who's to become the
Savior of the World... so much for all your exciting plans for life... that's out the window!)
Also, HLT, the pastor at my current church has a British accent, which I swear, he once
intentionally used to recite some things disciples said in a Monte Python-esque way.
I thought of you.
