Nah...Frith is the bunny god. In the movie version, it looked like the sun and that might be hinted in the text, but I never caught it. But because of the movie, I always thought it was the sun they worshipped.

And I'll be sad if we grill bunnies. I will officially be sad and commence to sulk. And I'll probably do some pouting.

Chicken? Nah. More like lamb don't ya think (although it's been yonks since i had one). My dad used to go out a-hunting when we were kids and then come back and skin them on the front porch.

It's not as strong a flavor as lamb though... maybe a cross in between.

Let's just skip the bunnies and have lamb. They are cute and fluffy. And tasty too!

I think if they were wild bunnies, they would have a more gamey taste, hence the similarity to Australian lamb. Yum!!!

yes. I think Menolly is right. My mum used to make rabbit stew with them. I always remember the colour of the meat (looked like red marble).

shall I bring some bunnies with me on the plane?!?! ;)

customs: "have you got anything to declare maam?"
seareach: "er...nup...just some chockie biscuits" [Seareach stuffs down the head of the bunny sticking out of her hand luggage].

Which reminds me: anyone got any special "orders" (stuff you want from Oz that I can bring through customs). I've heard that you guys in the US don't have *real* chocolate biscuits. Is this true? I thought I could bring you all some timtams (I hate them because they're too rich but most people think they're mana from heaven!)

I'm good. I told Cov Jr his rent was to be paid in "Penguins" which is the British version of "Timtams." I also think that the gift of your presence is gift enough. And you are bringing vegemite right?

Oh yes! Of course! Vegemite! I am definitely bringing some and then I'll make you all toast with vegemite...and for those who are really daring you can have vegemite and cheese. [You know, I always thought it was spelt vegImite. Argh!
