What's driving me mad is that I'm not entirely sure which characters are where. I was actually surprised to see Kara on Galactica. It *was* stated that Helo was on the base star. What about Anders?

I think Anders is on the Base Star as well.

Yes indeed, that was very interesting.
What did everyone think about next week's preview?

OK where did I miss the hint that the 6 was the dying leader?

Someone recently suggest in this thread that Natalie might be the dying leader after Athena shot her. We're inplying that the visions she had while she while Cottle was working on her might make her the dying leader.

I took that to be the same thing Baltar's mind-6 had him do when being tortured. Didn't he put himself into a tranquil place with trees?
Interesting that none of us are discussing the major changes in personnel that happened in this episode. I guess none of us expect them to last any amount of time...

Maybe I'm just tired, but I found that last episode very confusing. Think I need to watch it again before I say much about it.
As to the preview for next week I am not expecting any stunning revelations. I don't think D'Anna was talking to Roslin. Who else is there? Maybe she was even talking to Anders. She did say 'one of', not necessarily revealing anything we don't already know.

Yeah I don't think she was talking to Roslin either.

She has been out of the loop for awhile... my guess is that Anders is going to be outed.
And as to Natalie, it is a very interesting theory. I had never really considered that the prophecy might refer to anyone but Roslin. However.. either she is dead, or she was resurrected... since the hub was obviously not destroyed... but were they close enough? Anyway, if she resurrected she wouldn't qualify anyway, unless I am missing something, which is quite possible.

The last episode I saw was the one where Athena went all trigger happy (again), and Gaida sang us a jaunty tune. Am I all caught up? Is there a new episode next Friday? Was there one last Friday? I'm all confused.

Yeah, you missed one. Alas, it's not (yet?) available on

yeah, the last one concerned Lee and that Lawyer guy...and old Adama and Saul...and the fallout from the basestar jumping unexpectadly...
good episode...its just...theres so many damn cliffhangers in this show its rdiculous...wouldnt have it any other way, though
me personally..im just wondering what exactly makes the cylons actualy cylons...i mean, sure their consciousness can be downloaded and they can come back to life..but...they can reproduce, with each other AND humans...they can obviously deviate from their 'programming' to become independant thinkers...
and with Saul being Adamas best friend...i think its pretty obvious that Adama would feel totally betrayed, but could he kill Saul?
theres so much to think about in this series it almost hurts to watch sometimes...heh

Season 4 is finally reaching Pegasus levels of awesomeness. I got a good laugh out of Diana f**king with Roslin too. I am so glad Lawless is back! She is absolutely terrific in this show, and I thought the show was worse for her absence.

I'm glad to see Lawless back also, and last night's episode was excellent. I'm growing tired of Baltar's same-old-same-old bullshit, and I really wish that Roslin had let him bleed out. I'm also getting a little tired of the Roslin-Adama love affair (and it's just now starting!)
I can't help but feel that the writers are fluffing up the episodes with tripe just to keep us (the viewers) on the edge a little longer. Each episode we get just a bit more information which leads up to the big reveal, but we can't get any close because of some personal story that we have to wade through. How long has it been since the last info on the Opera House? Are we any closer to learning the identity of the final Cylon? Is the story advancing at all?

Absolutely agreed. Heh, I have also been measuring season 4 against Pegasus. And I do believe we are in for a stunning cliffhanger sometime in the very near future...

No, the story's not advancing, and that's frustrating as Hell. The episodes so far have all been pretty good, but they haven't told us much at all about the larger narrative.
And you know, that really sucks, and ultimately lessens the season. It becomes a gimmicky tease....."Oooooh, who's the last Cylon" has become the only thing we're tuning in for, not the larger story of whether or not they find Earth.
That said, I feel really good about my theory of the show. Baltar has now sown the seeds of discontent (or rather, sown more) with the Centurions and introduced them to the concept of God. The skin jobs can now die as well as have children, so now they're the new "humans".
The cycle just keeps rolling.

What's happened before will happen again...
I'm a little confused by Starbuck's comment that the Final Five have been to Earth. Where did that idea come from?

Well, the Hub is destroyed, so we might see some serious action among the cylons, eh? Their lives have all just changed in the most fundamental way their lives
can be changed.
Cail wrote:That said, I feel really good about my theory of the show.
I was just thinking the same thing about
my theory! Looks to me like Baltar just got stabbed in the side with a spear.

Huh.
You're right.
