Hey Balon--I don't know..I'll ask his teacher. Did you put his name on it? You didn't have to but his teacher said that she would give the postcards to the kids when their names are on them. I didn't find that out until much later.

I'm leaving for Venice in the morning. If I can find a good postcard, and I can remember how to say stamp in Italian(it's francobolli), I'll send along a postcard!

I see this thread is still going. I just got here, but if the kids are continuing this project all year I'd be happy to send on one from my place- and put his name on it right?
Say yep if it's still going and I'll PM you for the info, ok?

Mine was a Jimi Hendrix one, and I figured I'd give it to a kid who didn't have one. I;d love to see a pic too!

4 cards so far...
send some more in a week, although I'd like to find some that do NOT have to do with my local area.

The postcard, it was sent. So, it should get there just in time for the end of the school year!
I didn't put his name on it, I figured it would be better put to use going to some unfortunate child that didn't have any.
Do you know if she reads the postcards to the class when she gets them? I practically wrote a novel on the back of both of mine...

If you're still sending cards, I'll be happy to put some in the mail if someone would be so kind as to give me the address.

Here's a pic of the postcards that Malik Jr brought home. I need to ask his teacher if she is still doing the project and I will let you know as soon as I find out.
Again, thank you everyone for helping out!!!

I suspect there are a lot more still coming
or given to other students instead...
...I do wonder which student in Wildcat country took home a postcard of The Swamp...

I bet the teacher gave some to other kids who didn't have names on them. I emailed her tonight and asked if she is still doing the project.

Note from Luke's teacher:
We are finished with the postcard project. But thank all of your friends for the great postcards. I’ve never had them from so many overseas places.
Thanks again everyone who helped out! I am going to put these in a special place for Luke.

I see Florida was well represented. So well represented, I'm glad I went with the Spiderman card.

Glad I could help!
You might want to let her know that Auleliel and I both sent one from Italy around the middle of January, so there might be a couple more still coming in if she hasn't gotten them yet.
