It most certainly is an interesting avatar for a setting supposedly in the era of 800 BCE, that's for sure...

Further to the '800BC' era, should we be particularly trying to give our stories or moves a Roman or Greek slant?

Entirely up to you. That's basically what I'm starting from, but I'd also love to see some Norse, Celtic, Egyptian, Native American, etc. I'm a fan of all mythology.

Unique stuff, or even drawing from fantasy, is good, too. Great, rather. So long as it works and entertains... My play style has always been a bastardization or amalgamation of all of the above. I'm not sure if I've ever used a truly unique idea, though I like to think I've applied it uniquely (same with this game).

My ideal outcome for this game is not only an enjoyable game, but a... living breathing microcosm, I guess.

I agree with Autarch. My reveal was based on what little I know of music history prior to the Dark Ages, and I am assuming the concepts of the staff, clefs, meters and notes for recording works are things yet to be learned for my followers.

My high priestess' mundane name and that of her twin brother were the results of a search on African societies, as I want to start my story arc from a more primitive musical base. This is not to say the city (by the way, Autarch, is the city itself called Acropolis? or was that chosen as the game name to imply the City/State setting?) or it's citizens are without knowledge, just the state of music as the game begins.

That is my understanding, balon.
And it is to be for a season equivalent to the current in real time season of the Carolinas, USA. So, late fall like weather for a month.

...I think.

Fist...

Krinn, on the other hand... knew quite well what he was saying. I think it's fair to judge him for his actions, do not you all?
Are you sure that's Krinn?
That's not the name on the post...
Do you know something?
