Rumfugery??!?
According to the infographic, as I am near the equator I am continually laying down, unless I'm in bed, and since my headboard is towards the east, I am never actually vertical. This sounds a lot more relaxing than it actually is.
When's the next chat?

I will suggest a time!
Monday 22:00-23:00 GMT
That would be starting & ending 30 minutes later than the last scheduled one. (which was on a Monday, 21:30-22:30 GMT)
Second suggestion:
04:30 GMT on weekdays was a time that worked well for Av and for peter.
If we picked one particular day for a Watcher chat at that time, people would know to show up & expect peeps!

Hey, new word! And no matches on Google, which is a feat in and of itself. I'm guessing it's what occurs when pirates drink so much rum that they can't remember where they parked the ship, but I'm not sure how that fits into the context.

woah, you're right... and yet it feels so familiar!

I thought so too, but I even tried a couple of alternative spellings, and nada.

oh. "Rumfudgery" brought up 172 results, incl. Urban dictionary.
But wouldn't it be awesome if someone created a word in a common language - say, English - that people only spoke, never typed online so it wasn't in Google?
Even when it became familiar in verbal dialogue.

Oh, good catch. I was trying it hyphenated and with two Gs and such.

I suggest:
04:00am-05:00am GMT, Wednesday morning
That's
Tuesday night where I am.
So, in the U.S., that's:
9-10pm Pacific
10-11pm Mountain
11-12pm Central
12-1am Eastern (!)
In Australia, that's:
2-3pm
Wednesday AEST
12:00-1pm Wednesday AWST
(I just learned that AU has a time conversion that's got a half-hour increment!)
*hopes Av or someone checks she got those time zone conversions right*
How 'bout that for a Watcher chat?
If I get a second, then I will stay up late Tuesday for this, and start PM'ing other Watchers.
samrw3 wrote:Sorry I missed the chatbane. It is going to be difficult for me to be a part of one - busy time at work for me. About the only time I can realistically be a part of one is early morning about 7:30AM CST or 12:00PM at my lunch time. I know that is too much to expect for most - so just know my thoughts are there!
Oh! And about this...
...when scheduling tutoring clients, I discovered that finding out what times DEFINITELY DON'T work for others is really helpful.
So, I like you putting that vote in!
Sorus wrote:It's technically your word. I wouldn't want to tie it in any more knots than I already have.
Well, yes I would. Tying words into knots - and unraveling them - are hobbies of mine.
Once I described being inside my mind as sort of like, "laying down mines, finding & defusing same mines."
